Overview
The Victron Energy ANL-Fuse is a bolt-down, fast-acting fuse for high-current DC protection in 48V Victron power systems and other installations that call for an ANL fuse within the same rating range. The range covers 300A, 400A, and 500A fuse ratings, each with an 80V maximum voltage rating, so it is suited to larger battery, inverter, charger, and DC distribution circuits where proper overcurrent protection is critical.
Its ANL format uses a bolted connection rather than a blade-style push fit, which helps keep the fuse secure in locations exposed to vibration, such as engine rooms, battery lockers, equipment compartments, and service panels on boats. These fuses have a higher short-circuit breaking capability than MEGA fuses, making them a practical choice where the installation calls for ANL protection on heavy DC cabling.
Key features
- ANL fuse format for high-current DC circuits on marine battery and power distribution systems.
- Available in 300A, 400A, and 500A ratings with an 80V maximum voltage rating.
- Fast-acting fuse construction helps interrupt overcurrent and short-circuit faults quickly.
- Bolt-down mounting keeps the electrical contact secure when installed in a compatible ANL fuse holder.
- Rated for 48V products, which makes the range useful for larger Victron inverter, charger, and battery system layouts.
- Higher short-circuit breaking capability than MEGA fuses for installations that require ANL-level protection.
- Compact fuse body measures about 82 mm long, with a 60 mm mounting-hole spacing for ANL holder fit checks.
Variants
This product is offered in several configurations so the fuse rating and pack quantity can be matched to the electrical design and service needs of the vessel.
The main differences between variants are the current rating and the number of fuses supplied. The 300A versions are available as a single fuse or a 5-unit pack, while the 400A and 500A versions are supplied as single fuses.
- CIP142300000: 300A/80V, 1 unit. This option suits a single protected circuit or a spare fuse position where the system design calls for a 300A ANL fuse.
- CIP143300020: 300A/80V, 5 units. This pack is useful when several matching 300A protected circuits are being installed or when spares are kept onboard for service.
- CIP142400000: 400A/80V, 1 unit. This option covers installations that require a higher current rating while staying within the same 80V ANL fuse format.
- CIP142500000: 500A/80V, 1 unit. This is the highest current rating in this listed range and should be used only where the cable, equipment, and protection plan call for a 500A ANL fuse.
Installation and fit
Install the fuse in a compatible ANL fuse holder with clean, tight bolted connections and cable lugs sized for the circuit. In a boat installation, the fuse should be placed where it can protect the conductor as intended while remaining accessible for inspection and replacement.
Fuse rating must match the protected cable, connected equipment, and the overall DC system design. For inverter, charger, or battery bank circuits, check the equipment requirements and the vessel wiring plan before selecting between 300A, 400A, and 500A.
Use cases on board
This fuse range is a good match for boats with larger DC loads, lithium or high-capacity battery banks, inverter/charger systems, and 48V Victron equipment where heavy conductors need properly rated overcurrent protection. It also works well as an onboard spare for cruising vessels where replacing a blown fuse quickly can keep essential power systems available.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
