Overview
The Jabsco 32305-5012-3A is a 12V HotShot 3 washdown pump with 3 GPM open flow and a 50 PSI shut-off setting. It uses a 3-chamber diaphragm pump head, quick-connect ports, and an integrated pressure switch so the pump starts when the nozzle is opened and stops when line pressure comes back up. The package includes the pump, strainer, trigger nozzle, and port fittings, but not a hose coil.
For a boat with a 12V DC system, this model sits in the compact end of the HotShot range at 9.1 x 4.2 x 4.2 inches and 3.2 pounds. It self-primes up to 10 feet dry, can run dry without damage, and carries an IPX6 rating with ISO 8846 ignition protection. This is an intermittent-duty pump, so it fits washdown work at the deck, cockpit, anchor line, and dockside outlet rather than continuous transfer duty.
Key features
- 12 VDC washdown pump with 3 GPM (11.3 LPM) open flow and 50 PSI (3.4 bar) shut-off
- Self-priming up to 10 ft (3 m) dry and run-dry capable
- Integrated pressure switch and internal bypass for on-demand washdown use
- IPX6 rating and ISO 8846 ignition protection for marine installations exposed to spray
- Quick-connect ports with included 1/2 in and 3/4 in straight hosebarbs plus a 3/4 in U.S. garden hose thread fitting
- Inline 40 mesh quick-connect strainer, trigger nozzle, and two nozzle adapters included
- 15 A fuse recommended; 12 in (305 mm) stripped wire leads in 16 AWG
- Fiber reinforced polypropylene housings, TPV diaphragm, EPDM valves, and stainless fasteners in the pump head
Installation and setup
The included fittings cover common washdown layouts, whether you are plumbing to hosebarb connections or stepping out to a garden-hose-thread outlet. Mounting centers are 2.3 x 3.2 inches, and the rubber feet help cut transmitted vibration. Leave enough room around the head for the port clips, hose bends, and wire exit.
The included 40 mesh strainer should be installed ahead of the inlet to keep debris out of the check valves and pressure switch. Max inlet pressure is 30 PSI, fluid temperature range is 32 F to 140 F, and the pump uses a stripped-wire electrical connection for a straightforward tie-in to a 12V circuit.
Compatibility and fit
This model suits boats that need a straightforward 12V washdown line for cockpit soles, decks, anchor line cleanup, and general rinse-down work. The compact footprint works well where space is limited, including lockers, utility spaces, and other tight mounting spots near the washdown outlet.
It also fits many replacement jobs where an older Jabsco 32305-0092 or 32305-0392 pump is being removed and the system is staying in the same 12V, 3 GPM, 50 PSI class.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
