Overview
The Raymarine R70029 is a 1.5 m right angled Power/Video/NMEA 0183 cable for compatible Raymarine multifunction displays. It combines the display power connection, NMEA 0183 wiring, and analog video input in one cable assembly, which helps keep helm wiring cleaner when the rear of the display is already crowded.
The right angled plug is the main fit advantage. It reduces the space needed behind the display compared with a straight connector, making it useful for flush-mounted helm panels, electronics boxes, and retrofit installs where a bulkhead, dash liner, or cable chase sits close behind the MFD.
This cable is used with compatible Raymarine Axiom Pro, Axiom XL, and selected legacy MFD installations that use the Power/Video/NMEA 0183 display connector. For best results, match the cable to the exact display model and confirm there is enough room for the 90 degree connector and cable bend before final mounting.
Key features
- 1.5 m cable length suits short runs from the display to a nearby distribution panel, junction area, or electronics space.
- Right angled display connector helps reduce rear clearance needs and limits strain at the MFD connection point.
- Combines power, NMEA 0183 data, and analog video input wiring through a single display cable assembly.
- Suitable for 12 V or 24 V Raymarine MFD installations when wired according to the display installation requirements.
- Useful for helm refits where a compatible display must fit into an existing cutout or shallow console space.
Compatibility and fit
This is a model-specific Raymarine display cable, not a universal transducer or network extension lead. It should be matched to compatible displays that use the Raymarine Power/Video/NMEA 0183 connector, including Axiom Pro and selected legacy Raymarine MFD families that accept this cable style.
The 1.5 m length works well when the power source, NMEA 0183 device wiring, or video input connection point is close to the helm. Longer vessel runs may still need properly sized extension wiring after the cable tails, with attention to voltage drop, fuse protection, and corrosion control at every termination.
Installation notes
Route the cable so the right angled plug is fully seated and the locking collar can be secured without forcing the cable against the back of the panel. Keep the cable away from sharp edges, high-heat areas, steering linkages, and service points that may be opened often.
On boats with exposed helms or damp electronics spaces, all bare wire terminations should be insulated, supported, and protected from water ingress. Clean, tight connections are especially important for NMEA 0183 data and video input wiring, where poor terminations can create intermittent faults that are difficult to trace later.
Use on board
This cable is a practical match for Raymarine MFD installations on center consoles, pilothouse boats, cruising sailboats, and sportfishing helms where the display needs power, legacy data, and analog video input without adding extra rear-panel clutter. It is especially useful when a clean MFD replacement depends on saving space behind the dash.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
