Overview
The Raymarine R70014 is a 5-pack of RayNet cable puller tools for routing Raymarine RayNet networking cables through boat cable runs without putting direct strain on the connector. Each puller attaches to the end of a RayNet cable and gives the installer a centered point for a pull line, which helps the cable move through chases, pedestal guards, tower legs, and other tight spaces more cleanly.
This is a practical installation accessory for electronics refits, new helm layouts, radar or chartplotter networking work, and any job where RayNet cables need to be pulled behind panels or through enclosed structure. The puller helps shield the connector pins during the pull and reduces the chance of bend or crush damage at the cable-to-connector joint.
Key features
- Made for Raymarine RayNet cable installation and routing
- Attaches to the RayNet twist-lock plug to create a centered pull-line point
- Helps protect connector pins while the cable is being pulled through the vessel
- Shape works as a fairing so the connector end moves more easily through tight cable paths
- Helps reduce bend and crush stress at the cable-to-connector joint during installation
- Reusable tools supplied as a pack of 5 for multi-cable jobs or future service work
Installation and use
Attach the puller to the RayNet connector before feeding the cable through the run, then tie the pull line to the puller rather than to the cable jacket or connector body. This keeps the pulling force aligned with the connector end and helps avoid snagging when passing through bulkheads, conduit, towers, pedestal guards, or crowded helm spaces.
During a network installation, it is still good practice to pull steadily, avoid sharp bends, and leave enough service loop at the display, scanner, sonar module, or network switch location. The puller is a helpful tool, but it should be used along with careful cable routing and proper strain relief once the cable is installed.
Compatibility and fit
This accessory is intended for Raymarine RayNet networking cables that use the RayNet connector style. It is used during installation only and does not become part of the active marine electronics network, so it does not affect voltage, data performance, or NMEA network layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
