Overview
The Jabsco 35770 Series is a continuous duty 4 in Flexmount blower for moving air through engine room and bilge ventilation ducting on boats. The series is rated at 250 CFM, equal to 7.0 m³/min, and is offered in 12 VDC and 24 VDC versions so it can match the vessel’s DC system without changing the basic blower format.
This blower is built for installations where ventilation may need to run longer than a short pre-start purge cycle. The 35770 Flexmount layout lets the blower rotate in its mounting bracket, which helps shorten duct runs and route the discharge toward the vent without forcing awkward bends in confined engine spaces.
The housing uses reinforced thermoset plastic, with corrosion-resistant materials throughout. The Flexmount models weigh 7 lb, or 3.18 kg, and connect to 4 in ducting, making the range a practical fit for engine compartments, fuel vapor ventilation paths, and general air extraction where the installation must stay within marine ventilation requirements.
Key features
- 250 CFM airflow rating for engine room, bilge, compartment, and general air extraction use.
- Continuous duty blower with an extended life motor rated for 5,000 hours.
- Flexmount bracket lets the blower rotate in the mount, helping keep duct runs shorter in tight spaces.
- 4 in duct connection supports common marine ventilation hose layouts.
- Reinforced thermoset plastic housing with corrosion-resistant materials throughout.
- Mounts to a flat bulkhead surface in the upper part of the compartment, away from spray, deck wash, and bilge water.
- N.M.M.A. type accepted and compliant with USCG 183.410 and ISO 8846 for marine ignition protection.
- Complies with ISO 9097 MARINE and conforms with EN 60945, EN 61000-6-1, and EN 61000-6-3.
Variants
The Jabsco 35770 Series is available in two voltage configurations for different DC electrical systems.
Both variants share the 4 in Flexmount format, 250 CFM airflow rating, 7 lb weight, and 4 in duct connection. The voltage, current draw, and recommended fuse size change by model.
- 35770-0092: Voltage 12 VDC. This version draws 11 amps and uses a recommended 15 amp fuse, making it the match for 12 VDC onboard systems.
- 35770-0094: Voltage 24 VDC. This version draws 6 amps and uses a recommended 10 amp fuse, making it the match for 24 VDC onboard systems.
Installation and wiring
For Flexmount installation, place the blower on a flat bulkhead surface in the highest part of the compartment, clear of spray and deck wash. Route the inlet ducting with as few bends as possible toward the lower third of the bilge compartment, where fuel vapors can collect, while keeping the ducting above any point where it could be submerged in bilge water.
Keep the blower away from heat above 130 °F to avoid distortion of the wheel or housing. For wiring runs up to 25 ft from the power source, use marine grade copper wire: 12 gauge for the 12 VDC model and 14 gauge for the 24 VDC model. Longer runs need larger wire, and the circuit must be protected with the proper fuse for the selected variant.
Use on board
This blower suits boats that need steady ventilation in an engine space, fuel compartment, galley, head, or other enclosed area where a 4 in ducted blower is the right fit. It is a strong match for refits where the installer needs a continuous duty blower and the ability to rotate the outlet to work around stringers, bulkheads, and existing duct paths.
Before engine start on gasoline-powered boats, the blower should be run long enough to clear vapors and the compartment should be checked for fuel vapor buildup. During operation, the blower should be used below cruising speed as part of a properly installed marine ventilation system.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
