Variants

This product is offered in two MagCode Power configurations. The Clip and Port are different parts of the same magnetic 12V charging connection setup, so the correct selection depends on which side of the connection is needed for the installation.

Both variants are part of the MagCode Power range for Victron Blue Smart IP65 Charger use and are rated for 12V operation up to 15A. The Clip is the charger-side connector, while the Port is the fixed inlet side used as the receiving connection point.

• BPC900500014: Type Clip. This is the magnetic connector used with the charger lead and includes a 30A ATO fuse, making it the moving side of the MagCode charging connection.
• BPC900520014: Type Port. This is the fixed magnetic inlet that pairs with the MagCode Power Clip, giving the boat a dedicated charging connection point.

Installation and setup

The MagCode Power setup is most useful when the charger will be connected regularly in the same location. The Port can be placed where the charging lead can reach cleanly, and the Clip can stay with the charger lead so the connection is quick each time the battery needs maintenance charging.

As with any boat DC charging connection, the installation should keep polarity correct, protect wiring from chafe, and place the connection where it is not exposed to standing water, foot traffic, or strain from a hanging cable. The system is for 12V charging use and should be matched to the correct Blue Smart IP65 Charger configuration.
