Overview

The TACO Marine ShadeFin Mini is a portable boat shade for small craft and open deck areas where fixed canvas is not practical. This parent product covers the kayak mount kit version with WeatherMAX 3D fabric in white or black, giving paddlers and boaters a compact shade setup that can move with the sun rather than staying locked in one position.

The shade area measures 60" x 38", with height adjustment from 36" to 52" for different seating positions and mounting needs. When it is not deployed, it folds down to 38" x 6" x 5", so it can fit into tighter storage spaces on a kayak, skiff, bass boat, pontoon, or tender.

The frame uses powder-coated aluminum, injection-molded nylon components, stainless-steel fasteners, and anodized aluminum parts. The WeatherMAX 3D fabric carries a UPF 50+ rating and is made to resist UV exposure, corrosion, and mildew in normal marine use.

This ShadeFin Mini kayak mount kit is offered in two fabric color configurations.

The fabric color changes between variants, while the kayak mount kit, bag, 60" x 38" shade area, 36" to 52" height adjustment, folding size, WeatherMAX 3D fabric, UPF 50+ rating, and frame construction remain consistent across these two configurations.

• T10-4000-18: White fabric. The white canopy gives the setup a clean look that pairs well with light hulls, decks, and kayak finishes.
• T10-4000-19: Black fabric. The black canopy gives the shade a more subdued look for darker boats, fishing kayaks, and low-glare deck layouts.

Installation and setup

This version includes the kayak mount kit, making it suited to paddle craft and small boats where a portable shade needs to attach without a full bimini frame. We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
