Overview

The Garmin 010-C1221-00 is a Garmin Navionics Vision+ electronic chart card (NVAE023R) covering Java and Borneo, supplied on a microSD/SD card for use in compatible Garmin chartplotters.

It combines coastal and inland chart content with daily updates during the included one-year subscription, plus premium Vision+ layers you can download after activation.

This is a good fit for boats cruising Indonesia and nearby routes where you want current chart data for planning, fishing contours, and clear port detail on the display at the helm.

Key features
  • Preloaded Garmin Navionics Vision+ region NVAE023R for Java and Borneo on microSD/SD media.
  • Coverage includes Java, Borneo and Sulawesi, plus islands west of Timor, Brunei and ports such as Singapore, Jakarta and Davao City.
  • Includes a one-year subscription with access to daily chart updates through the ActiveCaptain app after activation.
  • Auto Guidance+ route guidance for planning dock-to-dock paths using your boat settings.
  • Depth range shading with up to 10 color bands, plus shallow water shading at a user-set depth.
  • Up to 1-foot contours where available to help read bottom shape for navigation and fishing.
  • ActiveCaptain Community points of interest such as marinas, anchorages, hazards, and local notes.
  • Premium Vision+ downloads where supported, including high-resolution relief shading, satellite imagery, sonar imagery, aerial photography, SideScan Images, 3D FishEye, 3D MarinerEye, and Dynamic Lake Level.
Coverage and chart content

NVAE023R focuses on the central Indonesian islands and nearby corridors, with coverage that spans Java and Borneo and extends into surrounding areas of Malaysia and the Philippines.

On the water you can tailor the view with chart layers and overlays, then use depth and shallow-water shading to quickly spot the ranges that matter for your draft and your target fishing depths.

Premium Vision+ layers

Vision+ adds extra views that help with situational awareness, including high-resolution relief shading and 3D perspectives, plus photo and imagery layers for key shore features. Some premium layers are downloaded to the card after activation and depend on chart coverage and your chartplotter’s feature support.

Updates and subscription

A one-year subscription is included and unlocks daily updates through the ActiveCaptain app once the chart is activated to your account and a compatible chartplotter is registered. The preloaded region is usable right away, but updates and downloadable layers require activation.

Charts and any content you download during the subscription period stay on the card. When the subscription ends, you can keep using what is already on the card, but you will not be able to pull new updates or additional downloads without renewing.

Compatibility and fit

This cartography is intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support Garmin Navionics Vision+ and accept a microSD/SD card. Many GPSMAP and ECHOMAP units support this format, but it is still worth confirming your exact model and software level before ordering.

If your chartplotter already has built-in coastal or inland mapping, the plug-in card takes priority in overlapping areas, so you see the Vision+ data for this region while the card is inserted.

Installation and setup

Insert the card into the chartplotter’s card slot and leave it installed while you want to use this region. If your plotter supports ActiveCaptain, pair it with the app to activate the subscription and run updates while docked and on a stable connection.

Use routing suggestions and shading tools as planning aids and confirm with good watchkeeping and local conditions when running in tight or changing water.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
