Combo Mount versions fit installations where the mount sits above the surface and can be positioned for side or pedestal-style mounting. Flush Mount versions keep the mounting base lower against the selected surface. The color choice is mainly visual, with black matching darker hardware and white matching many fiberglass decks and consoles.

• 5014W4: Flush Mount, White. This configuration pairs a white holder with the Flush Mount for a lower-profile look on light-colored mounting areas.

Installation and setup

Mount the holder where the rod can clear rails, cleats, upholstery, engine controls, and walkways through the full adjustment range. The mounting surface should be flat and solid enough for fishing loads, with fasteners and backing selected for the boat construction.

Before drilling, check the rod angle with the reel installed so the handle, rod butt, and line path have enough clearance in both running and fishing positions. For flush-mount versions, confirm the required mounting depth and cutout against the actual mount before installation.

Compatibility and use on board

This holder is a mechanical deck or cockpit accessory, so there are no voltage, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, or helm-network requirements to check. Fit depends on rod style, mounting surface, available clearance, and the selected mount type.
