Overview
The Simrad 000-00128-001 is a 2 m (6.5 ft) power cable with a 4-pin plug on one end and four bare-wire leads on the other for power input, the power control bus, and an external alarm connection.
It is used when you are hardwiring a compatible Simrad display or module into a boat’s DC system at the helm, inside a console, or in an electronics box. The bare-wire end lands on your protected DC feed, while the 4-pin end plugs directly into the unit.
This harness is commonly used with Simrad NSE and NSS displays, StructureScan 3D, and GO7, GO9, and GO12 units that accept the standard 4-pin power lead.
Key features
- 2 m (6.5 ft) harness length for typical helm and console routing
- 4-pin Simrad power connector to four bare-wire leads for hardwiring
- Separate leads for power input, the power control bus, and an external alarm connection
- Used on compatible Simrad electronics that take the standard 4-pin power cable, including NSE and NSS displays, StructureScan 3D, and GO7, GO9, and GO12
- Bare-wire end is straightforward to terminate with tinned-copper connectors and sealed heat-shrink in a marine electrical system
Compatibility and fit
This cable fits Simrad equipment that uses the standard 4-pin power inlet. Before ordering, compare the connector style on the back of your unit to confirm it is the 4-pin version and that you have clearance to route the plug without a sharp bend.
If you are replacing an existing harness, match the connector type and the presence of the control and alarm leads at the wiring end so those functions remain available when your installation uses them.
Installation and setup
Route the cable so the connector at the display is not carrying the cable weight. A small service loop and a strain-relief tie point near the unit helps on boats that see vibration and hard impacts.
Make terminations in a dry area, keep splices above the bilge, and protect the feed with correctly sized circuit protection for the connected equipment. Any unused control or alarm leads should be individually insulated and secured so they cannot short to ground.
Use on board
This cable is a good match for refits where the original lead was cut short, damaged, or removed during a helm rebuild, and for new installs where the display power needs to be landed cleanly on a panel behind the helm. Keeping the wiring end protected inside a console or electronics box helps in wet, salt-heavy environments.
Maintenance and troubleshooting
During routine electrical checks, inspect the plug at the unit and the terminations at the panel for corrosion and looseness, and look along the run for chafe where it passes through bulkheads. If the display reboots or drops power intermittently, loose terminations and abrasion points are common places to check first.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
