Overview

The Blue Sea Systems 1464 is a 12-position DC switch and circuit breaker panel with an analog voltmeter, built for 12V systems and rated for up to 120A when the feed protection and wire size are matched to the load.

It combines twelve ON-OFF rocker switches with twelve 10A push-button reset circuit breakers, and the meter uses a selector switch to check voltage on as many as three battery banks. The panel measures 7.75 in high by 9.25 in wide with 3.50 in of depth, which makes it a practical fit for a helm console, cabin bulkhead, or nav station where you want switching, branch protection, and voltage checks in one place.

This layout works well on boats that need a clean 12V distribution point for multiple house and helm circuits without spreading switches, breakers, and battery monitoring across separate locations.

Key features
  • 12 switched and protected DC branch circuits in one panel for a 12V electrical system
  • Built-in analog voltmeter with an 8 to 16V DC range
  • Selector switch lets you monitor voltage on up to three battery banks
  • Supplied with twelve 10A push-button reset quick-connect circuit breakers
  • Supplied with twelve SPST ON-OFF rocker switches
  • Maximum panel amperage of 120A when the installation is wired and protected correctly
  • Panel size of 7.75 in x 9.25 in with 3.50 in mounting depth
  • Includes a square-format DC label kit for circuit identification
Compatibility and fit

This panel is for 12V DC distribution, so it suits boats that need a central point for lights, electronics, pumps, and other branch circuits on a 12V house or helm system. The built-in meter is useful when you want to compare battery-bank voltage at the panel instead of adding a separate meter elsewhere on the boat.

Because this panel is not waterproof, it belongs in a mounting location that stays dry and protected rather than an exposed dash, open cockpit surface, or other area that takes direct washdown. The 120A panel rating depends on proper main feed protection and wire sizing, so overall circuit planning still matters before installation.

Installation and setup

The supplied breakers are 10A reset-only units, which is convenient when many branch circuits on the boat share that protection level. Breaker values can be changed when the actual circuit design calls for different protection, and the included label kit helps keep each switched circuit easy to identify after wiring is complete.

This panel is a good match for owners replacing an older square DC panel or building a new 12V distribution point for a cruiser, center console, or workboat with several switched loads and a need to keep an eye on battery voltage from the helm or interior panel.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
