Overview

The Garmin 010-11204-00 is an autopilot isolation hose kit that adds electrical ground isolation between a Garmin 1.2 L or 2 L autopilot pump and a boat's steel-braided Mercury Verado steering hose. The kit includes two 12-inch (30.48 cm) high-pressure reinforced No. 4 diameter hoses.

This kit is used when you are plumbing a Garmin hydraulic autopilot pump into a Verado steering system that uses steel-braided hoses, where isolating that connection matters for the electrical ground path. It supports Garmin GHP Reactor Hydraulic Autopilot systems as well as GHP 10 and GHP 10V installations.

Key features
  • Adds electrical ground isolation for hydraulic steering setups that use steel-braided Mercury Verado hoses.
  • Made to install between Garmin 1.2 L (0.32 gal) or 2 L (0.53 gal) autopilot pumps and the boat's Verado steering hose connection.
  • Includes two 12-inch (30.48 cm) high-pressure reinforced No. 4 diameter hoses.
  • Compatible with Garmin GHP Reactor Hydraulic Autopilot, GHP 10, and GHP 10V systems.
What's included
  • (2) 12-inch (30.48 cm) high-pressure reinforced No. 4 diameter hoses
Compatibility and fit

Confirm your steering system uses steel-braided Mercury Verado hoses and that your autopilot pump is a Garmin 1.2 L or 2 L hydraulic pump. As with any hydraulic steering work, match the hose ends to your existing steering fittings and allow space for routing so the hoses are not twisted or forced into a tight bend.

Installation and setup

This kit is installed in the hydraulic run between the autopilot pump and the Verado steering hose connection. After any plumbing change in a steering or autopilot circuit, plan on bleeding the system per your steering and autopilot procedures and checking every connection for seepage under load before heading offshore.

Use cases on board

A good fit for outboard boats and fast center consoles running Verado hydraulic steering where a Garmin hydraulic autopilot is being added and ground isolation at the steering hose connection is required. It is also common on boats that see frequent washdowns and vibration, where keeping the pump bay plumbing tidy and properly supported helps long-term serviceability.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
