Overview
The TACO Marine M20-2413E is an electric low profile adjustable seat slide for marine seats and benches from 29" to 40" wide. It measures 13-1/8" x 24" with a 2-1/4" height, runs on 12V DC power, and gives the seat up to 5" of fore and aft travel so the helm or companion seat can be positioned without loosening hardware or using a manual slide lever.
This seat slide is built for boat seating installations where water exposure, vibration, and repeated adjustment are part of normal use. The unit carries an IP66 water-resistant rating, uses a precision-machined 6000-series aluminum chassis, and has an acid-etched clear anodized finish. Its electric actuator moves the slide at 13.5 mm/sec at 1500N and self-locks at any position under rated loads.
The mounting pattern works with both pedestal and box seat applications, which makes it useful for helm benches, leaning-post seating, companion seating, and other wide seat bases where smooth adjustment and a secure fit matter.
Key features
- Fits marine seats and benches from 29" to 40" wide.
- 13-1/8" x 24" slide footprint with a low 2-1/4" profile for installations where seat height matters.
- Electric actuator gives up to 5" of travel and can stop anywhere between the extended and retracted positions.
- 12V DC operation with 9 A maximum current for integration into common boat electrical systems.
- IP66 water-resistant rating helps the slide handle spray, washdowns, and exposed seating locations.
- Precision-machined 6000-series aluminum chassis keeps the structure rigid without unnecessary weight.
- Rail and linear glide system is self-lubricating, dirt resistant, corrosion free, and built for quiet movement at 58 dB or less.
- Rated for 3500N maximum load, with 1500N push and pull force from the actuator.
- Self-locking mechanism holds the seat position under rated loads, reducing unwanted movement while underway.
- Universal mounting bolt pattern supports pedestal and box seat applications.
- Meets H31 testing standards for seat applications.
- Made in the USA.
Installation and setup
This slide is a good match for helm and cockpit seating where the operator needs controlled seat adjustment while keeping the base secure. The 5" stroke gives enough range to fine-tune reach to the wheel, throttle, footrest, or electronics without changing the seat base itself.
Plan the installation around the full travel path of the seat and check clearance behind and in front of the seating position before drilling. The low profile helps limit added height, but the finished seat height should still be checked against the helm sightline and foot support.
Electrical and system integration
The actuator runs on 12V DC and should be connected to a properly protected marine circuit. Because this is a powered seat component, wiring should be routed where it will not pinch during the full slide travel and where it is protected from sharp edges, standing water, and moving gear under the seat.
For refits, confirm available power at the seating location before installation. For new builds, this slide can be planned into the helm seating circuit along with the control location that best suits the seat layout.
Marine use and fit
The IP66 rating, aluminum chassis, and anodized finish make this slide suitable for demanding seating areas such as center consoles, pilothouses, cockpit benches, and open helm stations. It suits boaters who want powered fore and aft adjustment on a wide seat or bench without switching to a different seat base style.
The self-locking action is especially useful on boats that see chop, vibration, or repeated throttle changes, since the seat can remain fixed at the selected position while the boat is underway.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
