Overview
The Lumitec 101829 is a Pico OHM expansion module that lets a Poco Digital Lighting Control system control third-party RGB lighting accessories that do not have built-in PLI technology. It runs on 10-16V DC, supports up to 400 mA per module, and the housing measures 1.5 in wide by 1.35 in high by 0.3 in deep.
It mounts at the accessory, then converts the connection to a simple two-wire run back to the Poco system, which helps cut down on long RGB wire bundles in tight rigging paths. Pico OHM is sold in packs of four modules, making it practical when you are adding multiple RGB accessories across the cockpit, cabin, or hardtop and want them controlled from the same Poco interface.
Key features

- Mounts at the accessory and converts the connection to a simple two-wire run back to the controller
- 10-16V DC operating range for 12V onboard electrical systems
- 400 mA maximum load per module (Max Amp/ch 400 mA)
- Compact footprint: 1.5 in x 1.35 in x 0.3 in (W x H x D)
- Operating temperature range: -35°C to +55°C (-31°F to +131°F)
- White housing; PLI enabled; CE certified
What’s included
- Four Pico OHM expansion modules (white)
Installation and setup
The module is meant to sit right at the RGB accessory, such as a lighted speaker ring or cup holder. Keeping it close to the load helps keep the installation tidy and reduces the need to pull multi-conductor RGB wiring long distances through the boat.
Plan your wire routing so the two-wire run back to the Poco system is protected from chafe, heat, and vibration. In wet zones, take the same approach you would for any low-voltage accessory wiring: secure the run, provide strain relief at the accessory, and seal connections with marine-grade terminations.
Compatibility and system notes
This module is intended for boats already using the Poco Digital Lighting Control system, where you want centralized control of RGB accessories that are not PLI-enabled. It is a good match for installers who want consistent scene control and color output across a mixed lighting and accessory setup.
With a 10-16V input range, it is suited to 12V systems and is not a direct fit for 24V circuits. Confirm the accessory current draw stays within the 400 mA limit per module before wiring it into the system.
Use on board
Pico OHM modules are commonly used when adding RGB accents that you want to behave like the rest of the Poco-controlled lighting: speaker lighting in the cockpit, illuminated cup holders under the gunwale, or RGB accent pieces in seating and helm areas. They are also helpful when you are refitting a boat and want to keep the control method consistent instead of mixing separate RGB remotes and controllers.
Maintenance and care
After the first few outings, recheck terminations and mounting for any looseness from vibration, then inspect periodically during routine electrical checks. Keeping the module and connections clean, dry, and well supported goes a long way toward trouble-free lighting control over time.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
