Overview
The Jabsco 29120-5100 is a manual raw-water marine toilet with a regular bowl, a soft-close composite seat and lid, a 19 mm inlet, and a 38 mm discharge. It uses the Twist 'n' Lock handle to shut the waste outlet valve with a 90 degree turn, which helps stop siphoning and waste backflow when the toilet is not in use.
This model can be installed above or below the waterline, the pump can be moved to the right or left side during installation, and the discharge can run overboard or to a holding tank. The regular bowl format gives more room than a compact head, and the overall size is about 470 mm wide, 485 mm deep, and 345 mm high.
The bowl is ceramic, while the pump and base use corrosion-resistant molded parts with service components such as 316 stainless fastenings, neoprene seals, and gaskets. It is built for sea, river, or lake water and should not be connected to a pressurized freshwater system.
Key features
- Twist 'n' Lock handle closes the waste outlet valve with a 90 degree turn to help reduce siphoning and waste backflow
- Self-priming double-acting piston pump can draw flush water from up to 1 m below the base and discharge waste up to 3 m above it
- Reversible pump mounting lets the installer place the pump on the right or left side
- 19 mm inlet and 38 mm discharge match common marine sanitation hose sizes
- Constant 38 mm waste path and a multi-angle discharge elbow help with hose routing and reduce blockage points
- Regular bowl with soft-close composite seat and lid for a more familiar onboard fit than a compact bowl
Installation and setup
This toilet is supplied assembled for right-hand operation, but it can be reassembled for left-hand use before mounting. The discharge elbow can be rotated to suit hose routing, which helps when space behind the head is limited.
For below-waterline installations, the plumbing layout matters as much as the toilet itself. Full-bore seacocks, secure hose clamping, and vented loops in the correct places are part of a safe installation, especially on boats that heel or run in changing trim.
Compatibility and fit
This model suits boats already set up for a manual raw-water head and is compatible with systems that discharge overboard where allowed, or into an onboard holding tank or treatment system. The regular bowl makes sense where crew comfort matters and there is room for a full-size manual head rather than a compact unit.
It is a practical choice for cruising sailboats, powerboats, and fishing boats that want a manual toilet with no electrical draw and parts that are easy to reach for routine service. Buyers replacing another 29120-series regular bowl installation should still confirm hose routing, mounting clearance, and pump-side preference before ordering.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
