Overview

The Garmin 010-12234-00 is a protective cover that snaps over the face of compatible 9-inch echoMAP units when the boat is not being used. It keeps the display and bezel from getting scuffed at the dock, coated with spray, or scratched during trailering and storage.

This cover fits echoMAP 93sv and echoMAP 94sv, and it also fits the 9-inch echoMAP CHIRP 92sv, 93sv, 94sv and 95sv models. It is not sized for 9-inch echoMAP Plus or echoMAP UHD units.

Compatibility and fit

Confirm the exact model on the unit label or in the device settings before ordering. This cover is for 9-inch echoMAP and echoMAP CHIRP units in the 92sv through 95sv size range, including echoMAP 93sv and 94sv. It does not fit 9-inch echoMAP Plus or echoMAP UHD units.

Installation and use

Press the cover onto the front of the display until it seats evenly around the edges. Remove it before operating the chartplotter so the screen and controls remain accessible.

Maintenance and care

After a salty run, rinse the cover with fresh water and let it dry before storing it back on the unit. Wipe the display with a screen-safe cloth before reinstalling the cover so grit is not trapped against the lens.
