Volvo Penta mineral gear oil provides outstanding anti-corrosive characteristics. At high temperatures, it maintains its performance. The turbine engine oil you choose should prevent elastomer seal breakdown. Excessive degradation, or swelling, can result in oil leaks, resulting in increased fleet maintenance costs. Through a validated elastomer compatibility test over a 24- and 120-hour period, SAE 10W30 MINERAL OIL has proven to be elastomer-friendly with the proper concentration of anti-oxidants. SAE 10W30 MINERAL OIL has demonstrated in the hot liquid simulator (HLPS) test that it exceeds current standard oils on the market and creates the least amount of coke deposits.
