Overview
The Raymarine A80559 is an adapter cable that connects a CPT-S or 9-pin DownVision transducer to an Element HV display with a 15-pin transducer port. At 385 mm long, it handles the connector change without forcing a full transducer replacement, which matters when you are updating electronics at the helm but keeping a compatible transducer already installed in the hull or on the transom.
It is used in Element HV sonar installations where the transducer side is 9-pin and the display side is 15-pin. In a legacy setup, it can connect straight to the transducer lead or sit between the display and a compatible extension cable when the existing run needs more reach.
Key features
- Links a Raymarine CPT-S or 9-pin DownVision transducer to an Element HV display with a 15-pin transducer connection
- 385 mm adapter length for the connector transition close to the display
- Works in direct transducer-to-display installs and in legacy cable runs that use a compatible extension cable
- Supports Element HV use with compatible CPT-S High CHIRP and DownVision transducers, including CPT-90 DVS, CPT-100 DVS, CPT-110, and CPT-120
- Useful when replacing the display while keeping a compatible transducer already mounted on the boat
Compatibility and fit
This cable is for boats already using a compatible Raymarine CPT-S or DownVision transducer and moving to an Element HV display. The main fit check is simple: the transducer side must be the Raymarine 9-pin CPT-S or DownVision connection, and the display side must be the 15-pin transducer socket used on Element HV units.
It is a transducer adapter, not a network or power lead. That makes it the right part when the sonar hardware on the boat is still serviceable and the change is happening at the display end of the system.
Installation and setup
Because this is a short adapter, it is normally fitted close to the display where the connector standard changes. That makes it useful on refit jobs where the existing transducer cable is already routed through the boat and the goal is to keep that run in place.
Where a longer legacy transducer run is already in the boat, the adapter can be placed between the Element HV display and a compatible extension cable. Support the cable near the connector, avoid tight bends behind the helm, and keep the connection out of areas that stay wet after washdowns.
Use on board
This is a good match for owners replacing the display without pulling a compatible transducer out of the transom or hull. It also makes sense on center consoles, trailer boats, RIBs, and small cruisers where access behind panels is limited and keeping the original cable route saves time and avoids extra installation work.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
