Overview
The Attwood Marine Low Profile Deck Fill for Carbon Canister is a low-profile gasoline deck fill for boats using an onboard carbon canister fuel vent system. It combines deck-level refueling access with an overpressure relief valve, built-in nozzle retention, an integrated flame/spark arrestor, and a waterproof screen that helps keep water from entering the fuel system. When used with compatible Attwood fuel system components, it supports refueling flow from 4 to 18 gallons per minute.
This fill is suited to applications where a clean deck profile and emissions-aware fuel handling matter, including gasoline-powered runabouts, fishing boats, pontoons, and other recreational boats fitted with carbon canister plumbing. The design supports ISO 13331 nozzle mating standards, ISO 10088 and CE compliance, plus ABYC, USCG, and EPA diurnal emission standards.
Key features
- Low-profile deck fill for gasoline carbon canister fuel systems, with straight and angled body orientations available.
- Flip-up tethered cap keeps the cap attached during refueling and avoids setting it on the deck.
- Overpressure relief valve and automatic diurnal emission control support modern marine fuel venting requirements.
- Waterproof screen helps block water entry at the fill during washdowns, rain, and normal deck exposure.
- Built-in nozzle retention and integrated flame/spark arrestor help make fueling more controlled at the dock.
- Supports 4 to 18 gallons per minute during refueling when matched with compatible Attwood components.
- Meets ISO 13331 nozzle mating standards and supports ISO 10088, CE, ABYC, USCG, and EPA diurnal emission compliance.
Variants
This deck fill is offered in two body orientations for different hose routing and deck layouts.
The confirmed difference between the two options is the orientation below the deck surface. Both variants are part of the same low-profile deck fill range for carbon canister fuel systems.
- 99DFCCLPSS1: Straight orientation. This option suits layouts where the fill hose can run more directly below the deck without needing an angled outlet.
- 99DFCCLPAS1: Angled orientation. This option gives the hose a change in direction below the deck, which can help where clearance or routing space is tighter.
Installation and fit
Before ordering, confirm that the vessel uses a carbon canister fuel vent system and that the selected body orientation matches the available space below the deck. The straight version works with a more direct hose path, while the angled version is useful where the fill line needs to turn soon after passing through the deck.
During installation, keep the fill, hose, venting components, and bonding or grounding arrangements consistent with the boat builder's fuel system layout and applicable marine standards. Fuel fills sit in a harsh area of the boat, so the mounting surface, sealant choice, and hose support should account for washdowns, vibration, fuel exposure, and repeated cap use.
Fuel system integration
This fill is a practical match for gasoline boats being serviced or built around Attwood carbon canister fuel system components. It is most relevant for owners, yards, and builders replacing a deck fill in an emissions-controlled fuel system rather than a simple open fuel vent arrangement.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
