Overview
The Raymarine T70134 is a SeaTalk NG starter kit for building a small marine electronics network backbone on boats using Raymarine SeaTalk NG equipment. It gives you the core pieces needed to start a powered backbone: a 5-way connector, two backbone terminators, a 3 m spur cable, and a power cable.
SeaTalk NG is Raymarine's cabling system for onboard data networking and is compatible with NMEA 2000, making this kit useful when adding or reorganizing connected navigation instruments, displays, sensors, or other SeaTalk NG devices. The 5-way connector forms the short backbone, the spur cable links a compatible device to that backbone, the power cable energizes the network, and the terminators close the ends of the backbone circuit.
Key features
- Starter kit for creating a small Raymarine SeaTalk NG backbone on a vessel.
- SeaTalk NG cabling system with NMEA 2000 compatibility for marine electronics networking.
- Includes a 5-way connector that acts as the backbone starting point for the network.
- Includes two backbone terminators to complete the backbone layout at both ends.
- Includes a 3 m SeaTalk NG spur cable for connecting a compatible Raymarine product to the backbone.
- Includes a SeaTalk NG power cable to feed power to the network backbone.
Installation and setup
This kit is meant for a straightforward SeaTalk NG backbone build or a small expansion where the installer needs the basic network pieces in one package. Mount the connector where it will stay protected, accessible, and close enough to the device and power source to use the included spur and power cables without strain.
On board, correct backbone layout matters. The terminators belong at the two ends of the backbone, the power cable feeds the backbone, and individual devices connect through spur connections rather than being wired as loose point-to-point extensions. That layout helps avoid many of the communication issues that show up after electronics upgrades.
Compatibility and fit
The kit is for SeaTalk NG compatible Raymarine products and works within a SeaTalk NG network architecture. It is a good match for owners adding a single compatible instrument, display, or sensor, or for a refit where a clean starter backbone is needed before more devices are added.
Before installation, confirm the rest of the system uses SeaTalk NG cabling and that the cable lengths suit the planned mounting locations. For mixed-brand or mixed-network installations, any NMEA 2000 integration should be planned around the correct Raymarine adapter cables and the existing backbone layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
