Overview
The TACO Marine P04-091W is a white stand-off surface mount rod holder for adding fixed rod storage to a boat without a recessed installation. It has a 1-3/4" inside diameter and is made from UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene, giving it a practical fit for exposed fishing areas where sun, spray, and daily use are part of the job.
This rod holder is built for straightforward surface mounting and uses integrated stand-offs to help it sit off the mounting surface. The front access hole makes it easier to reach the rod and manage removal, which is useful around cockpits, pontoons, docks, and other fishing setups where quick access matters.
Key features
- 1-3/4" inside diameter for standard rod storage applications.
- White UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene construction for use in exposed marine areas.
- Surface mount layout adds rod storage without cutting a recessed holder into the deck or gunwale.
- Front access hole helps with rod retrieval when space around the holder is tight.
- Integrated stand-offs simplify mounting and keep the holder positioned away from the mounting surface.
- Hardware is not included, so fasteners can be selected to suit the boat surface, backing, and installation method.
Installation and fit
This holder is a good match for adding rod storage to pontoon rails, cockpit areas, utility panels, dockside setups, or other suitable flat mounting locations where a surface-mounted holder makes more sense than a flush-mount style. Before drilling, confirm the available clearance for the rod angle, reel body, and handle movement.
Because mounting hardware is not included, use fasteners that match the substrate and the marine environment. On thin fiberglass, aluminum panels, or composite surfaces, backing plates or washers may be needed to spread the load and reduce flex around the mounting points.
Use on board
This rod holder works well for anglers who need simple rod storage rather than a heavy-duty trolling holder. It is meant for keeping rods organized and accessible around the boat while fishing, rigging, or moving between spots.
The white finish keeps the look clean on many fiberglass and pontoon layouts, while the polyethylene body avoids the weight and finish maintenance of metal holders in storage-focused locations.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
