Overview
The Raymarine A80562 is a 4 m HyperVision transducer extension cable for Raymarine HV series transducers. It adds 4 m of reach between the transducer and display, which helps when the cable path on the boat is longer than the standard lead allows. It is used with HyperVision installations and is not a general-purpose transducer extension.
This cable is used with HV series transducers, including HV-100 and HV-300 setups. The added length can make a difference on boats where the display is mounted farther forward, the cable has to pass through rigging tubes, or the run needs a cleaner route through the hull or console.
Key features
- 4 m extension length, equal to 13.12 ft
- Made for Raymarine HV series HyperVision transducers
- Works with HV-100 and HV-300 installations
- Useful when the display-to-transducer route is longer than the original cable allows
- One extension is the recommended maximum in the cable run
Compatibility and fit
This extension cable is for HV series transducers only. It suits installations built around Raymarine HyperVision sonar where extra distance is needed between the transducer location and the display connection point.
It also fits split HV-300THP port and starboard transducer installations that use the matching Y-cable in the connection path to the display. If you are checking fit before purchase, the key point is that this is part of the HyperVision cabling system and should be matched to an HV series transducer setup.
Installation and setup
This cable is useful when the transducer lead has to travel farther through a center console, pilothouse, or longer hull run. It gives more freedom when the display is mounted away from the transom or when the cable needs a cleaner path that avoids tight bends and awkward routing.
For best results, keep the cable run as short as the installation allows. One extension is the recommended maximum. On HV-100 installations, total cable length should stay within 10 m. On HV-300 installations, total cable run to each transducer should stay within 6.3 m.
Use on board
This is a practical match for boat owners adding or relocating an Element HV display, refitting an older cable route, or cleaning up a new electronics install where the stock transducer lead comes up short. It matters most on boats where the sonar path is already defined by rigging channels, liners, or helm placement.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
