Overview
The Lumitec 112821 is a flush-mount LED down light with blue output and a 5000K white mode that dims, built for 10 to 30VDC boat systems. White mode produces 150 lumens from a 4W draw, and the sealed housing is IP67 compliant for wet locations.
Its shallow profile keeps the back of the fixture under 1/2 in behind the panel, which helps in tight headliners and hard tops. The trim is finished in white and the light is certified ignition protected, so it can be used in spaces where fuel vapors may be present when installed correctly.
Key features
- 10 to 30VDC input for 12V and 24V nominal systems
- White and blue output, with dimming on white mode using a standard SPST switch
- 150 lumens on white mode; 5000K CCT and 70+ CRI
- 4W rated power draw; up to 300mA at 12VDC and 160mA at 24VDC
- Fully sealed, IP67 compliant for washdowns and exposed mounting locations
- Certified ignition protected for installation where fuel vapors may be present
- Shallow mounting depth under 1/2 in behind the mounting surface
- Overall dimensions: 1.99 in x 1.99 in x 0.70 in
Installation and setup
Mounting uses a screw-on plate and a twist-lock body. Cut the opening using the supplied template, secure the plate, connect to vessel DC power, then rotate the light until it clicks into the plate.
The light is polarity sensitive. Verify DC negative and DC positive before energizing, and fuse the circuit based on the total load of the lights on that switch.
The fixture is fully sealed for interior and exterior mounting, but it is not intended for permanent underwater installation.
Switching and dimming control
The built-in control works from a standard SPST on-off switch. Turn the switch off and back on quickly to move between white and blue.
When the light is on white, the output ramps slowly. Turn the switch off and back on at the brightness you want to hold that dim level, then use another quick off-on cycle to switch to blue after dimming is set.
Fit and on-board use
With a small, square face and a low-profile mount, it fits well in cabins, salons, helm overhangs, and exterior hard tops where you want a flush look and no exposed fasteners.
It is a good match for boats that want white light for normal use and blue for night running or cockpit work, while keeping wiring simple on a single switch circuit. If you are replacing older halogen downlights and need to cover a larger existing opening, a retrofit adapter kit is available for holes from 1.875 in to 2.750 in.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
