Overview

The Garmin 010-12832-25 is a transducer replacement kit for Garmin Force trolling motors that have a built-in transducer. It includes a no-transducer compression seal plus 8-pin and 12-pin transducer compression seals, so the cable entry can be sealed correctly after you remove, replace, or service the transducer.

This is the kind of small parts kit that matters because it renews the seals and hardware at the lower unit where everything lives in the water. Fresh O-rings, the correct compression seal, and the included stainless steel screws help you put the motor back together without reusing tired parts that can weep or loosen over time.

  • 8-pin and 12-pin transducer compression seals to match different Garmin transducer connector styles
  • Replacement O-ring kit and stainless steel screws to refresh sealing surfaces and fasteners during reassembly

Compatibility and fit

This kit is intended for Garmin Force trolling motors that use the built-in transducer nose cone arrangement. The included compression seals cover both 8-pin and 12-pin transducer cable styles, and the no-transducer seal is there for builds where the nose cone is assembled without a transducer cable passing through.

This is a sealing and hardware kit, not a transducer. It does not change sonar capability on its own, but it is the right refresh set when you are swapping the built-in transducer, servicing the nose cone area, or reassembling after a tear-down.

Installation and setup

Plan on replacing the O-rings and the compression seal as part of the same job, not one at a time. Keep the seal grooves clean, route the transducer cable so it is not twisted, and make sure the compression seal you install matches the cable you are passing through. Once everything is seated, tighten evenly so the seal compresses consistently all the way around.

Because this work is at the lower unit, it pays to take your time: a pinched O-ring or a mismatched compression seal is the sort of mistake that only shows up after the boat is back in the water.

Use cases on board

This kit is a good match for anglers who run a Garmin Force and are doing transducer service in the offseason, repairing a damaged cable, or changing their sonar setup and need the motor sealed back up properly afterward.

Maintenance and care

After any transducer work, take a quick look at the cable exit point after the first couple trips to confirm everything stayed snug. If you boat in salt or brackish water, a fresh-water rinse around the lower unit after use helps keep salt from building up around seams and fasteners.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
