The aluminum option uses a satin anodized finish with a ribbed column profile, while the stainless steel option uses a polished finish with a smooth column appearance. The right fit depends on the height needed at the table and the finish that matches the surrounding cockpit, cabin, or deck hardware.

• Z76-9271VEL28.63-1: 28-5/8" length, satin anodized finish, aluminum material. This version suits installations that need the taller fixed-height column and a satin aluminum look with a ribbed profile.
• Z76-8000POL25.5-1: 25-1/2" length, polished finish, stainless steel material. This version suits installations that need the shorter fixed-height column and a polished stainless look to coordinate with bright deck or cockpit hardware.

Compatibility and fit

This column is made for 3" diameter table pedestal systems, so the base and table support must match that column size. It should be paired with compatible surface-mount or flush-mount 3" diameter table pedestal bases rather than mixed with pedestal hardware from a different diameter system.

Before ordering, confirm the required finished table height, the existing base style, and whether the installation calls for the 25-1/2" or 28-5/8" column. On replacement jobs, measure the current post length and diameter rather than relying only on the table location.

Installation and use

The single-taper end seats into the base for use and allows the column to be removed when the table is not needed. This is helpful on boats where the same cockpit or cabin space changes between dining, fishing, lounging, and underway movement.

Because this is a fixed-height column, table height is set by the selected column length, the base, and the tabletop support. Check clearances around cushions, seat bases, companionways, and walkways so the table can be used comfortably without interfering with normal movement on board.
