Overview

The TACO Marine GS-380-LE is a Limited Edition Grand Slam 380-LE outrigger mount set for 1-1/2 inch outriggers, pairing the GS-390 body with the GS-380 arm for sportfishing boats that need outrigger control from below the top. It is built for boats in the 25 ft to 40 ft range and lets the crew handle both horizontal rotation and vertical lift from the deck, which matters when seas are moving and climbing onto a hardtop is not practical.

The outward rotation handle uses detents every 22.5 degrees to help control movement, while the lifting crank handle folds flush into the base when not in use. Vertical lift reaches up to 45 degrees, and the 30 degree offset handle gives better hand clearance around the top and mounting area.

Construction uses cast stainless steel and machined aluminum, giving the mount the strength and corrosion resistance needed for saltwater fishing use. The locking head helps hold the outrigger position once set, making this a practical upgrade for offshore trolling, coastal sportfishing, and boats where safe deck-level outrigger adjustment is a priority.

Installation and setup

This mount is intended for top-mounted outrigger installations where the operator wants control from the deck rather than from above the hardtop. Confirm that the top structure can support the load, that there is room for the handle swing and crank operation, and that the selected outrigger poles match the 1-1/2 inch requirement.

Because the mount is sold as a pair, it suits symmetrical port and starboard installations. Careful layout before drilling is important so the handles are comfortable to reach, the poles clear antennas and other top-mounted hardware, and the outriggers can rotate and lift without interference.

Use cases on board

This set is a strong fit for center consoles and express-style fishing boats where crews deploy outriggers often and need adjustments that can be made quickly from the deck. It is especially useful for offshore trolling spreads, live-bait fishing, and coastal runs where conditions can change before or during deployment.

Maintenance and care

Rinse the mounts with fresh water after saltwater use, especially around the handles, locking areas, and moving parts. Periodic inspection of fasteners, mounting surfaces, and the locking head helps keep the system operating smoothly through regular fishing seasons.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
