Overview

The Garmin 010-11251-15 is an out-front handlebar mount for Garmin Edge cycling computers that puts the display ahead of the stem for an easy, heads-up glance. It uses a clamp-style attachment and supports common round bar diameters including 31.8 mm and 25.4 mm (with the appropriate shim).

This mount can also be used with Forerunner 310XT and 910XT when the watch is fitted to a compatible quick-release kit (sold separately); the inner mount can be rotated so the screen is oriented correctly. Overall size is 113 x 52 x 39 mm and the mount weighs about 26 g, which helps keep cockpit clutter down when you are trying to keep the bars clear.

For marine use, it is a practical way to secure an Edge unit on a tender, a pedal bike carried aboard, or any round bar at the dock that matches the clamp size. As with any bar mount, confirm there is clearance for steering and controls before committing to the position.

Key features
  • Out-front position moves the device in front of the stem for a clearer line of sight and more room on the bar.
  • Clamp mount supports 31.8 mm handlebars and 25.4 mm handlebars when paired with the correct shim.
  • Recommended bolt torque is 0.8 Nm to secure the clamp without over-tightening.
  • Inner mount can be rotated after removing the underside screws to change device orientation for compatible watch setups.
  • Compact footprint at 113 x 52 x 39 mm and light weight around 26 g.
Compatibility and fit

This mount is built around the Garmin quarter-turn interface used on many Edge devices. Fit is primarily determined by your bar diameter: it is intended for 31.8 mm bars and can be adapted for 25.4 mm bars with the appropriate shim. If you are mounting on something other than a bicycle, measure the outside diameter of the rail or handle and make sure the clamp can seat evenly all the way around.

For Forerunner 310XT and 910XT, the mount works when the watch is installed into a compatible quick-release kit (not included). That setup is commonly used by triathletes who move the same device between wrist and bars.

Installation and setup

Position the mount so the device sits where you can read it without changing your grip, then snug the clamp evenly and finish at the recommended 0.8 Nm. After installing, turn the bars lock-to-lock and confirm the device clears cables, lights, and any accessory mounts.

If you are using a watch setup, remove the screws on the underside, rotate the inner insert, and reinstall the screws so the screen sits upright on the bar. Re-check fasteners after the first ride or a rough-water tender run, since vibration can settle clamp hardware.

Care in a marine environment

If the mount gets hit with salt spray, rinse it with fresh water and let it dry before storage to keep residue from building up around the clamp and screws. Periodically inspect the clamp area for movement, especially if the bar surface is smooth or painted, and re-torque as needed within the recommended limit.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
