Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 1463 is a vertical 8-position DC switch panel with an analog voltmeter for 12V systems. It combines eight switched branch circuits with a meter that reads 8 to 16V DC, and the selector toggle lets you check up to three battery banks from the panel. The panel measures 10.75 x 4.88 x 3.50 inches and carries an 80A maximum amperage rating.
As supplied, it comes set up with eight 10A push-button reset quick-connect circuit breakers and eight SPST ON-OFF rocker switches. That makes it a practical fit for boats that need one compact panel for common 12V loads while keeping battery voltage easy to check during normal use.
Key features
- Eight switched DC circuits with individual SPST ON-OFF rocker switches
- Built-in analog voltmeter with an 8 to 16V DC range
- Meter selector toggle for checking up to three battery banks
- 80A maximum amperage rating for the panel
- Vertical format that fits a narrow mounting area
- Panel size of 10.75 x 4.88 inches with 3.50 inches of depth behind the face
- Supplied with eight 10A push-button reset quick-connect circuit breakers
- Includes a square-format label kit with 30 black labels for circuit identification
Compatibility and fit
This panel is meant for 12V DC distribution, so it suits boats that run a standard 12V house or accessory system and want switching and voltage monitoring in one place. The narrow vertical layout works well at the helm, nav station, cabin entry, or another bulkhead location where width is limited but you still want eight labeled circuits in easy reach.
Before installation, check the available depth behind the mounting surface and match each branch load to the supplied 10A breaker setup. It is a good match for refits where an older eight-circuit panel is being replaced, or for new builds that need a clean, organized panel for lights, electronics, pumps, and other everyday 12V services.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
