Overview
The Garmin 010-11957-00 is a trolling motor adapter kit that lets you mount an Airmar TM150M transducer on a trolling motor. The kit uses a metal band clamp plus two 3/4 in. pan head screws to hold the adapter parts in place on the motor housing.
This is a mounting accessory, not an electrical converter, so it does not change how the transducer connects to your sonar. It is used when you want TM150M depth and temperature readings from a trolling motor location, with the transducer positioned to stay clear of the prop and steering motion.
Key features
- Made for mounting an Airmar TM150M transducer to a trolling motor lower unit using a band clamp style attachment.
- Adapter ring and adapter body help the TM150M sit properly against the curved surface of a trolling motor housing.
- Hardware size is defined for installation: two 3/4 in. pan head screws are included for fastening the adapter components.
- Supports TM150M installations used with compatible Garmin sonar setups, including GPSMAP xs series chartplotters and GSD 25 or GSD 26 sonar modules.
- Useful when routing the transducer cable up the trolling motor shaft to keep it controlled during deploy, stow, and steering.
What’s included

Installation and setup
Dry-fit the adapter on the trolling motor first so you can confirm prop clearance and a clean cable path. Once positioned, the band clamp wraps the lower unit while the screw fasteners secure the adapter parts that hold the transducer.
After installation, turn the motor through its full steering range and cycle it through stow and deploy to confirm the transducer and cable do not contact the prop, skeg, lift mechanism, or bracket. Re-check clamp tension after the first trip, since vibration and temperature changes can let hardware settle.
Compatibility and fit
This kit is intended for the Airmar TM150M transducer form factor. If you are using a different transducer model, or a trolling motor housing shape that does not allow the clamp to sit flat and secure, this adapter may not be a match.
For the cleanest install, plan for strain relief at the transducer and at the top of the shaft, and leave enough slack for steering without creating a loop that can snag when the motor is stowed.
Electrical and sonar integration
Because this is a mounting kit, your wiring and connector stay the same as the TM150M transducer you are using. Confirm that your chartplotter or sonar module is compatible with the TM150M and that your cable routing keeps the connector dry and protected from pinch points.
Use cases on board
This setup is a good fit for boats that run a bow-mount trolling motor and want the transducer positioned with the motor for slow-speed work such as fishing structure or holding on a spot. It also helps when you prefer not to mount the TM150M on the transom due to trailer bunks, lifting strakes, or frequent shallow-water contact.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the clamp area after use and inspect for movement if you run in chop or heavy vegetation. A quick check of clamp tension and cable ties as part of routine boat prep helps keep the transducer aligned and protected over time.
