Overview
The Garmin 010-11055-00 is a 16 ft (5 m) CCU to ECU interconnect cable used in Garmin GHP 10 autopilot installations. It links the Course Computer Unit (CCU) to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and gives you enough length to route cleanly through rigging tubes, under decks, or behind a helm without putting the system components in the same compartment.
This harness also includes a color-coded, bare-wire section used for the typical on-board connections that tie into the autopilot system during install, such as tachometer signal, Shadow Drive, and the alarm buzzer wiring. It is the right fit when you are replacing a damaged interconnect, correcting an install that was pulled tight, or re-routing to a better mounting location.
Key features
- 16 ft (5 m) overall length for CCU to ECU placement flexibility on a boat
- Connector-terminated interconnect for the CCU to ECU link in a GHP 10 autopilot system
- Color-coded bare-wire leads for wiring into supporting functions like tachometer input, Shadow Drive, and alarm buzzer connections
- Commonly used with Garmin GHP 10 and GHP 10V autopilot systems that use separate CCU and ECU modules
- Useful for clean refits when the original routing is too short, chafed, or no longer reaches after equipment relocation
Compatibility and fit
This cable is for Garmin autopilot installations that use a separate CCU and ECU, such as the GHP 10 family. It is not a transducer cable and it does not replace NMEA 2000 drop cables or network backbone wiring. Match it to the interconnect used between your CCU and ECU and confirm you have the correct style for your specific autopilot generation before ordering.
Installation and setup
Plan the route from the ECU location near the pump or steering gear to the CCU mounting area, then confirm you can stay within the 5 m run without stretching the harness. Support the cable along its path so it is not hanging by the connectors, and keep it away from sharp edges and moving steering components. The bare-wire section is where you make the helm and accessory splices, so leave enough access to work cleanly and seal connections properly for the marine environment.
Who it suits on board
This is a good match for owners and installers doing a tidy GHP 10 refit where the ECU is mounted low and aft and the CCU needs to live in a drier, more protected space. It also fits boats that see vibration and constant access panels, where replacing a tired interconnect cable prevents intermittent heading and steering issues caused by strained wiring.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
