Overview
The Raymarine E70242 is a 1 m Yamaha Command-Link Plus cable used to connect a Raymarine ECI-100 engine interface to an available socket on a Yamaha Command-Link or Command-Link Plus hub.
Once installed as part of a compatible Raymarine engine integration setup, the cable allows Yamaha engine data to be shown on select Raymarine multifunction displays. It is a practical interface cable for boats where the helm electronics need access to engine information without adding a separate engine display at the dash.
Key features
- Links the Raymarine ECI-100 through its NMEA 2000 DeviceNet connection to a Yamaha Command-Link or Command-Link Plus hub.
- Supports display of Yamaha engine data on compatible Raymarine multifunction displays when used with the required engine interface setup.
- 1 m cable length suits short helm, console, and rigging-space connections where the ECI-100 is mounted near the Yamaha hub.
- Useful for clean engine-data integration on Yamaha outboard installations that already use Command-Link or Command-Link Plus networking.
- Helps reduce duplicated helm hardware by bringing engine information into the Raymarine display environment.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is for Yamaha Command-Link and Command-Link Plus installations that use the Raymarine ECI-100 as the engine interface. One end connects to the NMEA 2000 DeviceNet side of the ECI-100, while the other connects to an open port on the Yamaha hub.
Before ordering, confirm that the boat has a compatible Yamaha engine network, an available hub socket, and the Raymarine ECI-100 in the system plan. For engine-data display only, the Yamaha engine connection is made through the ECI-100 without requiring an EV-2 autopilot sensor.
Installation and routing
The short 1 m length works best when the ECI-100 can be mounted close to the Yamaha hub, often behind the helm, inside a console, or in a protected electronics space. Route the cable away from sharp edges, high-heat areas, and moving steering or throttle components, and leave enough service loop to inspect or unplug the connection later.
As with any engine-network cable, keep the connector ends clean and dry during installation. Make sure the Yamaha hub port and the ECI-100 connector are fully seated before testing engine data on the Raymarine display.
Use cases on board
This cable is a good match for center consoles, fishing boats, cruisers, and other Yamaha-powered vessels where the owner wants engine information available on a Raymarine MFD at the main helm. It is especially useful during electronics upgrades where the boat already has Yamaha Command-Link hardware in place and the new display layout is being built around Raymarine navigation equipment.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
