Overview
The Raymarine E70531-00-NAG is a 7 inch chartplotter and fishfinder display package with Navionics Plus USA and Canada chart coverage, a built-in High CHIRP sonar channel, and no transducer in the box. It uses a 7.0 inch optically bonded 800 x 480 display, a 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver, and an 8 to 16 V DC power range with about 15 W draw on a 12 V system.
This is a compact helm display for boaters who want straightforward charting and navigation now, with sonar ready to add later. It supports Raymarine LightHouse charts, Navionics, and C-MAP, and it can build personal bathymetry maps with RealBathy when a compatible transducer is connected.
The package suits smaller center consoles, bay boats, coastal cruisers, and sailboat nav stations where space is limited but NMEA 2000 networking still matters. Its IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating and daylight-viewable screen make it suitable for exposed helm positions as well as enclosed cabins.
Key features
- 7.0 inch optically bonded display with 800 x 480 resolution and up to 1500 nits brightness for charts that stay readable in open daylight
- Built-in 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver for quick position updates when following routes, entering channels, or holding a clear track line at speed
- Single-channel High CHIRP sonar is built in, so the display is ready for depth and bottom detail once a compatible transducer is added
- NMEA 2000 connectivity supports integration with AIS, autopilot, sailing instruments, engine data, tank monitoring, and VHF
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi supports optional Quantum wireless radar for a cleaner installation on boats that want radar without a hardwired scanner connection
- LightHouse Sport OS uses dedicated controls, including a large waypoint key and three programmable quick keys for faster use underway
- One MicroSDXC card slot supports chart storage and updates without adding external hardware
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating fits open-cockpit and exposed helm installations where spray, rain, and washdowns are part of normal use
Installation and setup
This package can be installed with the included trunnion bracket or surface-mounted with the supplied gasket and stainless steel fixings. The included combined cable gives you a 1.5 m power lead and a 0.5 m NMEA 2000 lead, which helps when the backbone is close to the helm. A suncover is also included for protection when the boat is not in use.
If you are adding this unit to a boat that already has a 12 V electronics circuit and a NMEA 2000 backbone, setup is straightforward. For sonar use, this version needs a separate transducer because none is included in this package.
Network and onboard integration
The Element 7S works well as a standalone navigator or as part of a small onboard network. It can share data with NMEA 2000 devices such as AIS, autopilots, VHF radios, engine gateways, and tank interfaces, which makes it useful for boaters who want one compact display to handle route guidance and key vessel data at the helm.
For boats that need radar, the built-in Wi-Fi supports optional Quantum wireless radar. That makes this model a sensible fit for owners who want to start with charting and GPS, then expand the system later without replacing the display.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
