The B6 (854835) Propeller is composed of aluminum and is used in both gasoline and diesel engines. For DP drives up to DP-E, 290-DP, and 280-DP Sterndrives, this is a B5 type rear Duoprop propeller. Propellers of type B5 (front and rear) are available as separate replacement parts. If you need a set, Type J propellers should be utilized. Add one number to the B series to convert it to the J series; for example, B3 is converted to J4. B Series Sterndrives are built for the B series while Duoprops is designed for the 5 series.
Type A, B, and J propellers should not be combined together. On the drive, always utilize propellers of the same type and size (or on both drives on twin installations). For speeds more than 35 knots, a stainless Type-C propeller is suggested.
