Overview
The Jabsco PAR-MAX 4 is an electric toilet rinse pump for supplying flush water to compatible Jabsco marine toilet systems. It is used as the rinse pump on Jabsco 37245, 37255, and 37275 series toilets, helping deliver water to the bowl during the flushing cycle.
This pump is available in 12V and 24V versions to match the vessel’s DC system. Both versions deliver up to 16.3 litres per minute, equal to 4.0 GPM, and self-prime up to 3.0 m, which is useful when the pump is mounted away from the toilet or above the waterline within the limits of the installation.
The dry-run capability helps protect the pump if the intake supply is interrupted for a short period. It is a practical replacement part for onboard sanitation systems where voltage matching, flow rate, and toilet-series compatibility matter before purchase.
Key features
- Electric rinse pump for Jabsco 37245, 37255, and 37275 series marine toilets.
- Available in 12V DC and 24V DC versions for matching the boat’s electrical system.
- Delivers up to 16.3 LPM, or 4.0 GPM, for toilet bowl rinse water during flushing.
- Self-primes up to 3.0 m, giving more flexibility when placing the pump near the toilet or intake line.
- Can run dry without damage, helping protect the pump if water supply is briefly interrupted.
- 12V version draws 7.0A and uses a 15A fuse; 24V version draws 4.0A and uses a 10A fuse.
Variants
This product is offered in two voltage configurations so it can be matched to the vessel’s DC supply.
The voltage is the key difference between the variants. The rinse-pump function, 4.0 GPM maximum flow rate, self-priming capability, and compatible Jabsco toilet series remain consistent across the 12V and 24V versions.
- 31631-0092: Voltage 12V. This version suits boats with a 12V DC sanitation circuit and requires a 15A fuse.
- 31631-0094: Voltage 24V. This version suits boats with a 24V DC sanitation circuit and requires a 10A fuse.
Compatibility and fit
This rinse pump is intended for Jabsco 37245, 37255, and 37275 series electric toilet systems. It is commonly used when replacing the rinse pump in a quiet-flush style installation where a dedicated pump supplies water to the toilet bowl.
Before installation, the existing toilet series and vessel voltage should be checked. A 12V pump should not be fitted to a 24V supply, and a 24V pump should not be fitted to a 12V supply.
Installation and setup
The pump should be installed in a dry, accessible location where the inlet strainer, hose connections, and wiring can be inspected later. Keeping the pump close to the toilet helps reduce plumbing length and supports steady rinse-water delivery.
As with any marine sanitation pump, hose runs should be secure, wiring should be protected from moisture and vibration, and the correct fuse size should be used for the selected voltage version. This is a good match for boat owners maintaining an existing Jabsco electric toilet rather than changing the full toilet assembly.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
