Overview
The Lumitec 112802 is a flush-mount LED Halo down light with a brushed housing that runs on 10 to 30 VDC and switches between dimmable white and dimmable red light. White output is 5000 K at 150 lumens, with a rated draw of 4 W.
It is fully sealed to an IP67 rating and certified ignition protected, so it fits well in real-world boat installs where spray, vibration, and occasional washdowns are part of the deal. The shallow mounting depth helps when you are working with thin headliners, hardtops, or tight overhead spaces.

Installation and setup
This light uses a composite mounting plate and a twist-lock style engagement. After the cutout is prepared, the plate mounts to the surface, the wiring is connected, and the light body seats into the plate and locks with a turn until it clicks. The shallow depth makes it easier to place in overhead panels where you do not have much clearance behind the surface.
Electrical and control
Power it from a protected DC lighting circuit with an appropriately sized fuse or breaker. The light is polarity sensitive, so connect negative and positive exactly as marked on the leads. Control can be as simple as a standard SPST rocker or toggle switch.
For the dimmable white mode, the output ramps and you can lock the brightness by toggling power off and back on at the desired level. After the dim stage, a quick power toggle cycles the output to the alternate color, and turning the light off for a couple of seconds resets it back to white.
Use cases on board
This is a practical choice for cabins, staterooms, helm stations, flybridges, and hardtops where you want one low-profile fixture to cover normal white light and a red mode for night runs or watch standing. It is a good match for boats running either 12 V or 24 V systems that want simple switching without adding extra control modules.
Safety information
The fixture is fully sealed and suited to interior or exterior mounting locations, but it is not designed to be permanently mounted underwater. The light can get warm during operation, so avoid mounting to highly flammable or heat-sensitive substrates.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
