Overview
The Raymarine E70533-00-102 is a 9-inch Element S chartplotter with built-in single-channel CHIRP sonar, a bundled LightHouse Charts North America chart card, and no transducer in this package. It gives you charting, GPS, and fishfinder capability from one helm display, with a fast quad-core processor, a 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver, and a 1500-nit 800 x 480 screen that stays readable in full sun.
For boats running a 12 V system, it operates from 8 to 16 V DC and draws about 20 W at 12 V. The housing is rated IPx6 and IPx7, so it fits exposed console and dash positions where spray, washdowns, and vibration are part of normal use. SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi let it share data with AIS, autopilot, instruments, VHF, engines, tanks, and compatible Quantum radar.
This version makes sense when you already have a compatible transducer, plan to add one separately, or want to start with charting and GPS first. The keypad layout, oversized waypoint key, and three programmable quick keys also suit helms where touch control is not the first choice in wet conditions or when the boat is moving.
Key features
- 9-inch 800 x 480 display with 1500 nits of brightness for daylight viewing at an exposed helm.
- Quad-core processor and LightHouse Sport OS keep chart redraws and page changes quick underway.
- Built-in 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver tracks GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou satellites for steady position updates.
- Built-in single-channel High CHIRP sonar with a 15-pin transducer port; this package does not include the transducer.
- SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 on the supplied power cable for AIS, autopilot, engine, tank, VHF, and instrument data.
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi supports compatible Quantum radar, and the microSDXC slot handles chart cards and software updates.
- This North America version includes a preloaded LightHouse Charts chart card and 1 year of LightHouse Charts Premium.
- IPx6 and IPx7 water protection with a -25 C to +55 C operating range for open-boat use.
Compatibility and fit
This unit works within Raymarine's Element S platform and supports LightHouse Charts, Navionics, and C-MAP cartography. Sonar is available through the built-in CHIRP module, but depth and fishfinding functions need a separate compatible transducer connected to the 15-pin sonar port.
For helm planning, the display itself weighs 1.3 kg and can be surface mounted or fitted on the supplied trunnion bracket. It is built around a 12 V supply, so it drops straight into most 12 V helm circuits. On 24 V boats, it should be fed through a proper DC converter rather than connected directly to the bank.
Installation and setup
The included power and NMEA 2000 lead helps with a clean install whether you are wiring it as a stand-alone chartplotter or tying it into an existing backbone. Raymarine lists a 5 A inline fuse and a 3 A thermal breaker. Leave room behind the panel for cable bends and microSDXC card access if you expect to swap charts, update software, or record data at the helm.
This display is a good fit for center consoles, bay boats, small cruisers, and sailboats where you want charting, GPS, and network basics in one screen without building a larger multifunction setup. It also works well as a replacement head unit when the boat already has compatible sonar hardware on board.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team.
