Overview
The Garmin 010-10781-00 is a replacement power/data cable for the GSD 22 remote sounder module, with a 7-pin plug on the module end and bare-wire leads for hardwiring. It is used when you are replacing a damaged harness, re-routing wiring after a refit, or cleaning up an installation where splices and corrosion have started to cause trouble.
This cable is intended for a DC system that matches the GSD 22 power requirements of 10 to 35 Vdc and the recommended 3.0 A AGC/3AG fuse on the positive feed. The bare-wire termination makes it easy to land on a fused distribution panel, breaker, or an existing junction point inside a console or electronics box.
Key features
- 7-pin connector to bare-wire termination for a direct replacement on GSD 22 installations
- Supports the GSD 22 power input range of 10 to 35 Vdc with a recommended 3.0 A AGC/3AG fuse on the positive lead
- Locking-ring style connection helps keep the plug seated on the module in a high-vibration marine environment
- Power wiring can be extended up to 100 ft (30 m) total length using 18 AWG wire when the mounting location is far from the DC distribution
- CANet wiring in the harness can be extended up to 80 ft (24.38 m) total length when used with a CANet Connections Kit
Compatibility and fit
Compatible device: GSD 22. The keyed 7-pin connector mates with the POWER port on the GSD 22, while the bare-wire end is meant to be terminated on your boat wiring and any required network wiring method used by the installation.
Installation and setup
At the module, align the connector notch and the locking ring tab, press the plug in until it is fully seated, then turn the locking ring clockwise until it stops. Route the cable so it is supported along the run and has strain relief near the module, with enough slack to avoid pulling on the connector when the boat is pounding or the service access panel is opened.
Cable routing and extensions
For longer runs, extend the power conductors with 18 AWG wire up to a total length of 100 ft (30 m). Keep splices in a dry, serviceable spot and protect connections from moisture and corrosion, especially in saltwater boats where bilge humidity and spray can migrate into wiring chases.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
