Overview
The Raymarine DT800 is a smart depth and temperature transducer for Raymarine instrument and chartplotter systems. It is a low-profile, retractable thru-hull sensor with SeaTalkng output, so depth and water temperature data can be shared directly with compatible Raymarine network displays.
This transducer operates at 235 kHz, which helps it run alongside common 50/200 kHz fishfinder transducers without interference. It has 100 W output and is rated for depth readings from 0.5 m to 180 m, giving it useful range for shallow water, coastal cruising, fishing, and general navigation.
The DT800 uses a 2-inch plastic thru-hull housing suitable for fiberglass or metal hulls. Its retractable housing includes a water valve for service access, and the 6 m cable with SeaTalkng connector supports a clean network installation without a separate transducer pod.
Key features
- Smart depth and temperature transducer for Raymarine instrument and chartplotter systems.
- SeaTalkng output connects directly to compatible Raymarine marine networks.
- 235 kHz operating frequency helps avoid interference with common 50/200 kHz fishfinder transducers on board.
- 100 W output with depth readings from 0.5 m to 180 m.
- Low-profile, retractable thru-hull housing with water valve for easier maintenance.
- 2-inch plastic housing suitable for fiberglass or metal hulls.
- Available with 0° or 12° internal offset angle to suit different mounting locations and hull shapes.
- 6 m interconnect cable with SeaTalkng connector included with the transducer.
Variants
The DT800 is offered in two offset-angle configurations. Both versions are for depth and temperature measurement, connect through SeaTalkng, and share the same general thru-hull smart transducer format.
The offset angle is the main difference between the variants. The 0° version is for flat or horizontal mounting positions, while the 12° version helps compensate for deadrise where the transducer is installed on an angled hull section.
- A22112: Offset angle 12°. This version uses a 12° tilted internal element for installations where the hull angle needs compensation so the beam is aimed more directly downward.
- A22165: Offset angle 0°. This version uses a 0° internal element for flat or horizontal mounting positions where no offset correction is needed.
Installation and setup
The DT800 is intended for thru-hull installation, so the mounting location should be chosen carefully with access inside the hull for the housing, cable routing, and future service. The 2-inch housing and retractable insert make it a practical choice for boats where the sensor may need to be cleaned or checked without replacing the full fitting.
Calibration is handled from a connected Raymarine Axiom chartplotter or i70s instrument. After installation, depth offset and temperature checks should be completed at the display so the numbers shown at the helm match the way the boat is used.
Compatibility and fit
This transducer is a good match for boats already using Raymarine SeaTalkng instruments or chartplotters and needing dependable depth and water temperature data on the network. It is useful for cruising boats, fishing boats, and sailboats where a low-profile thru-hull installation is preferred over a larger fairing block.
Hull angle matters when selecting the variant. A flat mounting area generally suits the 0° model, while an angled hull section may call for the 12° model to keep the acoustic beam pointed closer to straight down.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
