Overview
The Victron Energy MIDI-fuse 32V is a pack of five bolt-down DC fuses for overcurrent protection in 12V and 24V battery and distribution circuits. The range covers 60A, 80A, 100A, 125A, 150A, and 200A ratings, all with a 32V maximum voltage rating.
These MIDI fuses suit compact DC protection points on boats, including battery positive feeds, charger circuits, DC-DC charger installations, inverter feeds within the correct current range, and distribution runs where the fuse holder and cable size are matched to the system design. The MIDI format is smaller than MEGA style fusing, which helps in lockers, consoles, and electrical panels where space is limited.
Each current rating has low voltage drop and low cold resistance, helping reduce unwanted loss in high-current DC circuits. Fuse selection should always follow the equipment manual, conductor ampacity, fuse holder rating, and the vessel’s DC protection plan.
Key features
- 32V DC maximum voltage rating for common 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.
- Available in 60A, 80A, 100A, 125A, 150A, and 200A ratings to match different protected circuit sizes.
- MIDI bolt-down format gives secure contact in installations exposed to boat vibration.
- Compact fuse body fits tight battery compartments, helm panels, and DC distribution areas more easily than larger fuse formats.
- Low voltage drop and low cold resistance help limit power loss in high-current DC wiring.
- Works with a suitable MIDI fuse holder for protected battery, charger, inverter, and distribution circuits.
Variants
This product range varies by current rating only. The available configurations are 60A, 80A, 100A, 125A, 150A, and 200A, all in the same MIDI-fuse 32V format and all supplied as packages of five pieces.
The correct rating depends on the protected equipment, cable size, installation layout, and fuse holder used. In a marine DC system, the fuse is there to protect the conductor and circuit, so the amp rating should be selected from the system plan rather than matched only to the load size.
What’s included
- Five Victron Energy MIDI-fuses in the selected current rating.
Installation and fit
Install the fuse in a compatible MIDI fuse holder and place it as close as practical to the power source on the positive conductor being protected. Battery compartments, charger feeds, solar charge controller outputs, and inverter or DC distribution feeds should be laid out so the fuse remains accessible for inspection and replacement.
Use properly sized cable lugs, clean contact surfaces, and secure hardware so the connection stays tight under vibration. The holder, conductor, and connected equipment must all be rated for the current in the circuit.
Use on board
This fuse range is a good match for owners, installers, and service teams working on compact Victron-based DC systems where clean circuit protection matters. It is especially useful for refits, spare kits, and planned electrical upgrades where keeping several matched replacement fuses on board avoids downtime after a fault is found and corrected.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
