Overview

The TACO Marine F16-0200-1 is a quick release fender lock kit for fiberglass boats, made to keep fender lines secure and set at the length you use most often. It gives dock lines for fenders a fixed attachment point on deck, so fenders can be installed quickly when coming alongside a dock, rafting up, or tying off in a slip.

The kit pairs a locking Pull Pin with a deck-mounted Receiver. The Pull Pin uses a 1" diameter push button and has a 7/8" diameter line hole for larger fender lines, while the Receiver includes a spring-loaded hole cover that closes the opening when the Pull Pin is removed. The assembly sits 1-11/16" above the deck and is made from Type-316L stainless steel with a high-polished finish.

Key features
  • Complete quick release fender lock kit for fiberglass boats, with the locking Pull Pin and Receiver used together as one fender line attachment point.
  • Type-316L stainless steel construction supports use in saltwater, washdown, and dockside conditions.
  • High-polished finish gives the hardware a clean look on finished decks, gunwales, and cockpit areas.
  • Spring-loaded Receiver cover closes the deck opening when the Pull Pin is not installed.
  • 1" diameter push button gives a wide contact point for releasing the Pull Pin by hand.
  • 7/8" diameter line hole accommodates larger fender lines used on many cruising, fishing, and dockside setups.
  • 1-11/16" overall height above deck keeps the fitting low while still leaving enough clearance for practical handling.
  • Bottom-fastening Receiver keeps the mounting arrangement clean from above.
  • Nylon ring washer separates dissimilar metals to help reduce galvanic corrosion risk at the mounting point.
  • Covered by a 3-year limited warranty.
Installation and fit

This fender lock is intended for fiberglass boat installations where a permanent Receiver can be mounted from the underside. The bottom-fastening layout is useful where the finished deck surface should stay clean, with the visible hardware limited to the polished Receiver and removable Pull Pin.

Before drilling, confirm that the mounting location has enough underside access for fastening and enough clearance for the Receiver. Common locations include gunwales, cockpit coamings, and other reinforced fiberglass areas where fenders are routinely placed and removed.

Use on board

Once installed, the fender line can remain set to the preferred length on the Pull Pin. During docking, the Pull Pin drops into the Receiver to place the fender at the same height each time, which helps reduce line adjustment when arriving at a marina, fuel dock, restaurant dock, or raft-up.

This kit is a practical match for boat owners who want repeatable fender placement without leaving loose fender lines tied to cleats or rails. It works especially well on boats where clean deck hardware, fast fender deployment, and tidy storage matter during regular dockside use.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
