Overview

The Raymarine E66054 is a P66 transom mount triducer for boats that need depth, speed, and water temperature readings from one stern-mounted sensor. It uses dual-frequency 50/200 kHz sonar with 600 W power handling, giving boaters a practical setup for bottom tracking, fishfinding, and general navigation on compatible Raymarine echo sounder systems.

This transducer mounts on the transom, making it a good fit for many outboard and sterndrive powerboats where a through-hull installation is not preferred. The 200 kHz beam is narrow at 11° for more focused detail, while the 50 kHz beam is wider at 45° for broader coverage in deeper water.

A 30 ft cable gives room to route the connection from the transom to the display or sounder module, and the housing is suitable for use with metal, wood, and fiberglass hulls. The paddle wheel assembly is replaceable, which helps keep speed readings serviceable over time in saltwater, silt, weed, or trailer-boat use.

Key features
  • Triducer functions combine depth, boat speed through water, and water temperature in one transom-mounted unit.
  • Dual 50/200 kHz operation supports both wider low-frequency coverage and more focused high-frequency bottom detail.
  • 600 W power handling matches compatible Raymarine sonar systems that use this style of P66 transducer connection.
  • 11° beam at 200 kHz and 45° beam at 50 kHz help balance bottom definition with wider search coverage.
  • 30 ft cable supports typical transom-to-helm routing on small and mid-size boats.
  • Replaceable paddle wheel assembly makes speed-sensor maintenance easier after fouling, wear, or seasonal service.
  • Works with metal, wood, and fiberglass hull materials when installed in the correct transom location.
  • Release-style transom bracket helps protect the transducer from impact and allows removal for storage or transport.
Compatibility and fit

This P66 triducer is intended for compatible Raymarine echo sounder and sonar systems, including SL Series units such as SL755RC, SL760RC, SL1250, and SL1250RC, hsb2 Plus Series units such as L755RC, L760, L760RC, L1250, and L1250RC, and hsb2 HDFI systems such as DSM250, L770D, L770DRC, L1260D, and L1260DRC.

Fit should be checked against the boat’s existing sounder connection, display or module model, and transom layout before installation. This is especially important when replacing an older transducer, since cable ends and adapter requirements can vary by Raymarine system generation.

Installation and setup

The transducer should be mounted where it stays in clean water flow while the boat is on plane, away from strakes, steps, intakes, trim tabs, and propeller turbulence. A transom angle range of 2° to 20° can be accommodated with the wedge setup, helping the acoustic face sit correctly in the water.

For best speed and depth performance, the cable should be routed securely above the waterline and protected from sharp edges, heat, and moving gear. On trailer boats, the bracket position should also be checked for clearance during loading, launching, and storage.

Use cases on board

This transducer suits boaters who want a single stern-mounted sensor for everyday depth awareness, speed-through-water data, temperature checks, and fishfinder use. It is especially practical on powerboats where transom access is simple and where regular inspection of the paddle wheel is part of normal maintenance.

For coastal cruising, fishing trips, and dock-to-spot runs, the combination of depth, speed, and temperature gives the helm useful information without adding separate sensors for each reading.

Maintenance and care

Because the speed reading depends on a paddle wheel, the wheel should be checked regularly for weed, growth, sand, or shell fragments. Cleaning the housing and paddle wheel during haul-out or trailer storage helps maintain smooth rotation and consistent speed data.

After any impact, grounding, or heavy debris contact, inspect the bracket, cable, and transducer face before relying on the system underway. Keeping the transducer face clean is also important for stable bottom readings and clear sonar returns.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
