Overview
The Garmin 010-N2552-01 is a remanufactured STRIKER Vivid 7cv fishfinder with built-in GPS track plotting and an included GT20-TM transducer for CHIRP traditional sonar and ClearVü scanning sonar.
The 7 in WVGA color display runs at 800 x 480 resolution, and the housing is rated IPX7 for incidental exposure on deck or at the helm. It powers from 12 to 20 Vdc and uses a 3 A fast-acting fuse in the power lead.
Use the GPS to mark waypoints, build routes back to productive water, and keep an eye on speed over ground while you run. Quickdraw Contours lets you create your own contour maps with 1 ft contours and store up to 2 million acres of that user-created mapping.
Key features
- 7 in WVGA color display (800 x 480) with seven color palette options to tune contrast for glare, water color, and bottom type.
- GT20-TM transducer included for CHIRP traditional sonar and CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar; 500 W (RMS) transmit power.
- Supported sonar frequencies: traditional 50/77/200 kHz, CHIRP (mid and high), ClearVü 260/455/800 kHz.
- High-sensitivity GPS for waypoint marking, route navigation, and speed over ground on screen.
- Quickdraw Contours map creation with 1 ft contours and storage for up to 2 million acres of Quickdraw data.
- Built-in Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) for pairing with the ActiveCaptain app to transfer waypoints and access the Quickdraw Community.
- IPX7 water rating and operating temperature range from -15 to 55 C for typical cockpit and open-console installs.
- 12 to 20 Vdc input; rated current 1.5 A; 3 A fast-acting fuse specification for the power cable.
Installation and setup
Mount the display where you can read it while seated and standing at the helm. The included tilt/swivel mount works well on most consoles because it lets you set the viewing angle and keeps the unit clear of throttle and wheel movement.
For the GT20-TM transducer, the included hardware supports a transom or trolling motor installation. On a transom, placement in clean water flow matters more than the exact height. Avoid spots where strakes, steps, or through-hulls create bubbles, and route the cable with strain relief so steering and vibration do not pull on the connector.
After installation, confirm the transducer type in the settings and spend a few minutes on the water dialing in gain and color palette so fish targets separate cleanly from structure.
Electrical and system integration
This unit runs on 12 to 20 Vdc, which fits standard 12 V boat systems. If your boat is 24 V, use a regulated DC-DC converter so supply voltage stays within range.
Feed it from a clean electronics circuit when possible and keep the in-line 3 A fast-acting fuse in place on the power lead. The unit is rated at 1.5 A, so voltage drop on long runs is often the main thing to watch on skiffs and small boats.
Wi-Fi pairing is handled through the ActiveCaptain mobile app, which is useful for waypoint transfer and software update notifications when your phone is within range.
On-water use
Traditional CHIRP sonar is the go-to view when you want depth and fish targets while you are on plane or moving between spots. ClearVü gives a sharper look at bottom transitions, timber, rocks, and dock pilings when you are working slower and want more detail.
Quickdraw is especially helpful on lakes, flats, and less-charted areas where you want your own contour lines. It builds as you drive, so slow passes in a grid over the area you fish most will produce the most useful map.
This setup suits anglers who want a dedicated fishfinder with GPS track plotting on a center console, bass boat, jon boat, or kayak. If you depend on detailed preloaded cartography for navigation, plan on a chartplotter instead of a fishfinder-only unit.
Dimensions and fit
The housing measures 9.3 x 5.5 x 2.3 in and weighs about 1.7 lb. Leave clearance behind the unit for the power/data cable and a gentle bend in the transducer lead so vibration does not work connections loose over time.

Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the screen and cable connections with fresh water and wipe dry. IPX7 covers incidental exposure, but keeping connectors protected from standing water helps prevent intermittent power or sonar issues.
When updating settings or troubleshooting, back up your waypoints first. A factory reset clears settings and removes any Quickdraw contours you have generated.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
