Overview
The TACO Marine GS-390-180 is a Grand Slam 390 heavy-duty outrigger mount with a 180 degree fore-facing handle for T-tops that need extra hand clearance. It is built for 1-1/2-inch outriggers and is a strong match for larger, faster center console boats in the 25' to 40' range where outrigger control needs to stay accessible from the deck.
This mount lets the crew handle vertical lift and horizontal rotation from below the T-top, which is useful when setting lines, clearing gear, or adjusting the spread while offshore. The 45 degree upward lift angle, secure pin-locking technology, and strong locking head help keep the outrigger positioned where it needs to be during active fishing.
The construction combines cast stainless steel Type-316L with machined aluminum, giving the mount the strength needed for saltwater use, vibration, and the torque created by longer outrigger poles. It works with TACO Deluxe Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Tele-Outriggers and supports T-top thickness up to 2-5/8 inches.
Key features

- 45 degree upward lift angle for practical outrigger deployment and stowage.
- Stronger gusset support and thicker arm help manage the torque from longer outrigger poles.
- Secure pin-locking technology and a strong locking head help hold the outrigger in position.
- Cast stainless steel Type-316L and machined aluminum construction suited to saltwater fishing environments.
- Compatible with TACO Deluxe Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Tele-Outriggers.
- Fits T-tops with a maximum thickness of 2-5/8 inches.

Installation and fit
This mount is intended for T-top outrigger installations on center console fishing boats, especially boats where the crew needs to operate the outriggers without climbing or reaching above the top. Before installation, confirm the T-top structure, mounting area, backing support, and 2-5/8-inch maximum top thickness.
Because outrigger mounts carry high leverage loads, the mounting surface should be solid, properly backed, and aligned so the handle can move freely. The 180 degree handle layout is useful when nearby pipework, hardtop shape, electronics boxes, or helm clearance make a standard handle position harder to use.
Compatibility and use on board
The GS-390-180 pairs with TACO Deluxe Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Tele-Outriggers, making it a practical choice for offshore trolling spreads on larger center consoles. It is most relevant for crews running longer outriggers, fishing in open water, or needing fast deck-level control when lines are being deployed, adjusted, or cleared.
This mount is a good fit for anglers upgrading from a lighter outrigger base or setting up a new T-top system where strength, handle access, and clean operation matter more than a basic fixed mount.
