Overview
The Lopolight 301-008 Series is a green starboard sidelight rated for 2 nautical miles, built for horizontal mounting and a 112.5 degree sidelighting sector.
It runs on 10-32 VDC systems and carries an IP68 rating for wet installations. The round body footprint is Ø92.5 mm, and overall height depends on configuration: single-stack versions are Ø92.5 mm x 46 mm, while double-stack versions are Ø92.5 mm x 96.5 mm.
This is a dedicated starboard navigation light for vessels in the 12 to 50 m range, with approvals aligned to common COLREG requirements for 2 NM sidelights.
Key features
- Green starboard sidelight with 2 nautical mile visibility and a 112.5 degree sector for horizontal mounting.
- Operates on 10-32 VDC (fits typical 12V and 24V DC systems).
- IP68-rated sealing for rain, spray, and routine deck washdowns.
- Current draw is 110 mA at 12 VDC and 60 mA at 24 VDC.
- Same Ø92.5 mm footprint across the range, with 46 mm single-stack height or 96.5 mm double-stack height for clearance planning.
- Housing finishes offered in silver anodized, black anodized, or white ceramic-coated aluminum with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless fasteners.
- Connection method varies by configuration (either a pre-attached 2.5 m cable or a plug connector), which affects how you route wiring through the structure.
Variants
This series is offered with different housing finishes (silver, black, or white) and in single-stack or double-stack form factors.
Single-stack versions keep the overall height down, while double-stack versions add height in the same footprint. Connection style can also vary across the range, so confirm whether your version is pre-cabled or uses a plug connector before planning the cable run and junction point.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm you are replacing a green starboard sidelight with the same 2 NM rating and horizontal mount requirement. Check placement so rails, stanchions, rub rails, and canvas do not block the required viewing sector. The double-stack body is noticeably taller, so it is worth checking hardtop overhangs and rail clearances before drilling.
Installation and wiring
Mount the light level, with the lens oriented forward, on the starboard side in accordance with your vessel’s navigation light placement rules. If your configuration is pre-cabled, route the cable to a dry junction location and seal any deck penetrations. Minimum feed wire gauge is 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22).
Power draw varies by configuration, with typical values around 1.4 W or 2 W. Use clean DC power and marine-grade terminations, and keep splices out of wet voids whenever possible.
Use on board
This series suits refits where you want a compact round sidelight footprint and sealing that holds up to vibration and spray. It also fits new builds where matching the housing finish to other deck hardware matters, while keeping the electrical load low on 12V or 24V systems.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue from the lens and housing during routine washdowns and check fasteners periodically. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the lens and finishes, and make sure bedding and cable seals stay intact after haul-outs or hardware changes.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
