Overview
The Lopolight 301-011 Series is a 5nm, 225° white masthead navigation light range for vessels from 20 to 50 m (65.6 to 164 ft), built for horizontal mounting where the light has a clear view forward. It runs on 10 to 32 VDC and the housing is IP68 rated for spray and washdowns.
The body diameter is Ø92.5 mm. Depending on configuration, overall height is 74.5 mm for single stack units and 96.5 mm for double stack units, which helps when you are checking clearance on a mast cap, bracket, or hardtop mount.
These lights are approved to COLREG72 and EN14744 and meet IEC 60945 and IACS E10, with USCG recognition.
Key features
- White masthead sector: 225° with 5nm visibility
- Rated for vessels in the 20 to 50 m range
- 10 to 32 VDC input for 12 V and 24 V DC systems
- IP68 rated for exposed mast and arch locations
- Operating temperature range: -25°C to 55°C
- Ø92.5 mm body diameter across the range; 74.5 mm height (single stack) or 96.5 mm height (double stack)
- Plug connector connection for cleaner installs and easier servicing
- Construction materials include aluminum housing (silver or black anodized 25µ, or white ceramic coated), PMMA lens, and A4 stainless steel screws
- Minimum feed wire gauge: 0.5 mm2 (AWG22)
Variants
Finish and stack style are the two things that change across the 301-011 range.
Finish options include silver anodized, black anodized, and white ceramic coated. Style options include single stack and double stack. Single stack units measure Ø92.5 mm x 74.5 mm; double stack units measure Ø92.5 mm x 96.5 mm. Mount base details, cable exit, and power draw can differ by configuration and are tied to the specific variant.
Installation and setup
Mount the light level and aligned with the vessel centerline so the 225° sector points forward. Keep the lens clear of antennas, stays, and other hardware that could shadow the beam. A solid mounting surface matters at the masthead because vibration can work fasteners loose over time.
Seal any penetrations, route wiring where it will not chafe, and support the cable close to the entry point. If wiring runs outside the mast, a drip loop before the connector helps keep water from tracking into the connection area.
Electrical and system integration
Operating voltage is 10 to 32 VDC, which suits typical 12 V and 24 V DC banks. Use appropriate circuit protection for your navigation light circuit and size wiring to the run length, meeting the minimum 0.5 mm2 (AWG22) requirement or heavier as needed.
The plug connector makes it easier to disconnect the unit for rig work, mast service, or replacement without cutting conductors.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The housing is aluminum with either an anodized finish (silver or black) or a ceramic coated white finish, paired with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws. On aluminum masts and brackets, isolate dissimilar metals where possible and use a suitable anti-seize on fasteners to reduce corrosion and galling.
Use on board
This series fits yachts and workboats in the 20 to 50 m class that need a 5 nm masthead light for night running and reduced visibility. Double stack configurations provide a double masthead arrangement in a single mounting footprint for installations that call for two masthead lights in the same location.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off the lens and housing during washdowns and wipe with a soft cloth. During routine rig checks, inspect the mount for movement and confirm wiring support points are still secure, especially after offshore runs or heavy weather.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
