Overview
The Lopolight 300-037 Series is a 5 NM white masthead navigation light with a 225 degree sector, made for vertical mounting on vessels from 20 to 50 m (65.6 to 164 ft). It runs on 20 to 32 VDC (typical 24V systems), draws 7 W (about 290 mA at 24 VDC), and is sealed to IP68 for washdowns and heavy weather.
The housing measures 107 x 92.5 x 74 mm (4.2 x 3.6 x 2.9 in) and weighs about 1.06 kg (37.39 oz). Light intensity is rated over 52 cd, and the operating temperature range is -25°C to 55°C (-13°F to 131°F).

Installation and wiring
This is a vertical-mount masthead light, so it is typically fastened to a vertical face on the mast or a forward superstructure where the required arc of visibility is unobstructed. Plan the cable run before mounting, keep connectors out of standing water, and seal any fastener holes and pass-throughs appropriate to the mounting surface.
Power requirements are for 20 to 32 VDC systems. If your boat is 12V only, confirm you have the correct supply available before purchase and installation.
Compliance and use
This light is approved to COLREG72 and EN14744, and is also listed to IEC 60945 and USCG requirements. It is intended for applications where a 5 NM masthead light is specified for vessels in the 20 to 50 m range, as part of a complete and correctly positioned navigation light set.
Fit notes for buyers
This series is a good match for 24V yachts and larger vessels that need a 5 NM masthead light in a compact, vertical-mount form. It also suits refits where you want to keep the same mounting style and footprint while choosing a housing finish that matches the mast and exterior hardware.
