Overview
The TACO Marine M20-1013A is a low profile adjustable seat slide with a detachable mount for boat helm seats and other marine seating layouts that need fore and aft adjustment without adding unnecessary height. It gives the seat seven equally spaced locking positions with 5-1/2" of travel, so the helm position can be set for better reach to the wheel, throttle, electronics, and footrest.
The slide uses a precision machined 6000-series aluminum chassis with high-strength polymer glides for movement that stays smooth and helps reduce seat rattle. Its front activation lever moves with the seat, keeping the release within reach from each seating position.
This model fits pedestal and box seat applications through a universal mounting bolt pattern and works with seats from 23" to 28" wide. The low 1.85" height helps keep the seating position close to the original helm height, which matters on center consoles, cruisers, and fishing boats where sightlines and control reach are already set.

Installation and fit
This seat slide is a practical upgrade when the existing helm seat needs more adjustment range or when a fixed seat position does not suit multiple operators. The universal mounting pattern gives installers flexibility on pedestal bases and box-style seating platforms, while the detachable mount helps when the seat needs to come off for service, storage, cleaning, or access below the helm area.
Before installation, confirm the available footprint, the seat width, the bolt pattern on the seat base, and the space needed for the seat to travel through its full 5-1/2" range. The slide measures 10" wide, 14.26" long, and 1.85" high, with a listed weight of 10.52 lb.
Use on board
This slide fits well on boats where the helm seat needs to work for more than one person, or where the operator moves between a seated position and a more forward driving posture. It is especially useful on fishing boats, center consoles, pilothouse boats, and cruisers where a small change in seat position can improve visibility and access to controls.
The low profile also helps in tight helm areas where raising the seat too much would affect sightlines through the windshield, clearance under a hardtop, or comfort at the wheel.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
