Overview

The Garmin 010-01364-30 is a 250 W solid-state radar pedestal used with GMR Fantom open-array antennas to build a network radar system on board. It is the “pedestal only” component, so the open-array antenna is a separate piece.

It runs on 10 to 32 Vdc input and carries an IPX6 water rating for exposed mounting on a hardtop, radar arch, or mast platform. Once installed and networked to a compatible Garmin display, it supports features such as MotionScope target highlighting, radar overlay, guard zones, and echo trails for day-to-day navigation and situational awareness.

For planning cable runs, this setup uses 15 m right-angle power and network cables, which helps when routing through a deck gland or down a tower leg where space is tight.

Key features
  • 250 W solid-state radar pedestal for GMR Fantom open-array radar setups (antenna not included)
  • Power input: 10 to 32 Vdc
  • IPX6 water rating for mounting in weather-exposed locations
  • Rotation speed options of 24 or 48 rpm for steady scanning or faster refresh
  • MotionScope Doppler highlighting to make moving targets easier to separate from stationary returns
  • Range capability from 6 m (about 20 ft) out to 96 nm
  • Networking support for Garmin BlueNet or Garmin Marine Network installations
  • Supplied with 15 m right-angle power and 15 m right-angle network cables for cleaner routing
Compatibility and system integration

This pedestal is intended for GMR Fantom 254 and 256 open-array systems and connects into a Garmin BlueNet or Garmin Marine Network so the radar can be viewed and controlled from compatible Garmin chartplotters and MFDs. If you want MARPA-style target tracking features, plan on a compatible heading sensor on the network so target motion can be referenced correctly.

Installation and setup

Mount the pedestal on a flat surface that is parallel to the vessel waterline and positioned to keep the radar beam as clear as possible from masts, spreaders, lights, and other obstructions. If you are routing cables through the mounting surface, allow for a pass-through hole up to 32 mm (1 1/4 in) and seal the penetration after the cables are in place to keep water out of the core.

Keep separation from compasses and transmitters per standard radar installation practice, and plan a proper water ground connection for the radar housing where applicable. The ground wire itself is not included, so it is typically supplied as part of the installer’s wiring kit based on the run length.

What's included
  • Radar pedestal
  • Mounting hardware kit and mounting template
  • Right-angle power cable (15 m)
  • Right-angle network cable (15 m)
  • Documentation
Maintenance and care

After saltwater runs, a fresh-water rinse helps keep salt buildup off the housing and fasteners. Periodically check mounting hardware torque, cable strain relief, and any deck seals around the pass-through to prevent water intrusion and vibration wear.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
