Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 5290 is an illuminated ATC fuse kit for 12V and 24V DC systems that makes a blown fuse easy to spot behind a dash, inside a helm console, or in any fuse panel with poor light. The kit includes 31 fast-acting easyID fuses plus a fuse puller, and the fuses are rated for up to 32V DC.
It replaces standard ATO and ATC blade fuses, so it fits the same style holders and fuse blocks already used on many boats. That makes it a straightforward spare kit for onboard electrical service without changing the panel or fuse format.
For owners who troubleshoot their own DC system, this kit is useful where fuse panels sit under the helm, behind access panels, or inside lockers where a blown fuse can be hard to find at a glance.
Key features
- Illuminated ATC blade fuses with LED indication when a fuse has blown
- Direct replacement for standard non-illuminating ATO and ATC fuses
- 31-piece assortment with a fuse puller for onboard spares and routine service
- Covers 3A, 5A, 7.5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 30A, and 40A circuit protection needs
- Fast-acting fuse style for common branch circuits on marine DC systems
- 32V DC maximum operating voltage and 1000A interrupt capacity
Compatibility and fit
This kit is intended for fuse positions that take standard ATO or ATC blade fuses. It is not a match for mini, maxi, glass, ANL, or MRBF fuse locations, so the fuse style on the boat should be checked before ordering.
Because the assortment covers common amp ratings used on accessory and branch circuits, it works well as a spare kit for lighting, pumps, electronics, and other fused 12V or 24V loads that already use the ATO or ATC format.
Use on board
This is a good match for boat owners, installers, and service techs who want quicker fault finding in low-light spaces and a wider range of spare fuse ratings in one case. It suits cruising boats, center consoles, skiffs, and workboats where access to the fuse panel is often tight and lighting is limited.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team.
