Installation and fit
This mount is intended for compatible round pipe or tube, so the key fit check is the outside diameter and pipe type at the mounting location. Before installation, confirm that the chosen section of T-top piping or rail is straight, accessible, and clear of canvas, antennas, outriggers, rod holders, lights, and other hardware that could interfere with ShadeFin movement or coverage.
Because this is a fixed mount, placement matters. Mounting it where the ShadeFin can open cleanly and cast shade over the cockpit, helm, aft deck, or other active area will give the best result without adding unnecessary hardware to the boat.
Use cases on board
This clamp-on mount is a good match for center consoles, bay boats, and fishing boats that use a ShadeFin but do not have a convenient rod holder in the right location. It can also help when the preferred shade position is on existing T-top structure rather than in a gunnel or hardtop-mounted rod holder.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the mount with fresh water and check the clamping area during routine cleaning. Keeping the polished stainless surface free of salt buildup and inspecting the locking points helps maintain a clean fit and dependable operation through repeated setup and removal.

If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
